Replaced filter cap with new one. The minor challenge was to find a method of pulling the filter out of refrigerator (which is normally done by pulling on the filler cap. The filter was recessed to far into the refrigerator for me to be able attach the new cap. I had to find another tactic to remove the filter. This was actually one of the easiest fixes I’ve done. All that was required was to remove 3 screws to remove the broken part. I used a pair of pliers to remove the moisture sensors from the broken part to the new one. Read more

Replaced water reservoir that had become contaminated with ??? Also had to replace the water filter, because the water contaminated it also. Cost was about $150, for two filters and the reservoir. Very disappointed that WHIRLPOOL was too cheap to put enough shelving in the new refrigerator/freezer we just bought. Thankfully, I found an additional wire rack here at Appliance Parts Pros and it fit perfectly ! No problem to install, all you do is fit it into the slots in the freezer wall. Read more
