One day my wife went to bake something and the bake/broil buttons as well as #3, #9, and oven light ceased to work. Local repair guy came by and wanted to charge $500 to fix it....YEAH RIGHT! Replaced ignitor with a new one. Should have tested old one before installing. New one did not work either. Traced problem back to defective thermo fuse by testing with a multimeter and found circuit open. Bought a new fuse and replaced. Ignitor cycling as designed now. Apparently fuse failed due to excessive heat. I will also replaced dryer vent hose and and clean out vent line.

I undid the top with a putty knife, took out two screws and took off the front. I replaced the drum rollers and put the new belt on the drum, looped the belt on the idler and then onto the motor pulley. I also put on two new top hold down clips as the old ones broke because they were plastic, the new ones were metal. I took off the back panel and replaced the heating element. Followed the video- opened the front of the dryer and removed the drum. It was evident that one of the wheels had worn and wasn't turning freely like the other one. The video showed how to remove the roller. Very simple process and now the dryer works just fine.
