Grill on air duct had an item melt on to it and partially block air flow Charles C. • Orchard Park , NY • November 25, 2017
It was easy to find the part on appliance parts pros. Once I found it I studied the diagram and determined that there were 3 screws in the drum that needed to be removed. I disconnected power and then removed 3 interior screws. Once I did that I removed the back cover and removed the single screw on the bottom side of the air duct that held it in place connected to the heat tube.
I then reversed disassembly. I want to tell you this is a 2 person job. In order to assemble it you need to...

Fan making banging sound in housing Keith N. • Kaukauna , WI • April 25, 2015
The blower wheel center was worn down and spinning freely on shaft. Removing front covers, controls and brackets gave access to blower, which front half came off removing screws. (One screw underneath bracket) Pushed new blower on. (It's keyed and has small tabs that line up with groove on shaft). Installed clamp, reassembled and tested. Don't forget to pull the plug out before working on any appliance.

Top loading washer would not agitate or spin h20 out after a clicking noise; the motor wouldn't engage or would start & then stop finally figured that it was the motor &/or capacitor Susan S. • Pelkie , MI • October 31, 2014
I found your site which was most helpful. I saw on your forum, that others had replaced a motor & capacitor with + results. I was willing to spend what I thought was a reasonable amount & your guarantee was the clincher. I knew that if I called the appliance store where we had purchased the washer in 1998, it would be very expensive & even more important, it would take many days as they would have to order the part & then schedule a service call. I installed the motor & capacitor & was...

Dryer timer would not turn and knob broke from the strain Bruce B. • Birmingham , AL • October 17, 2014
I ordered the timer and knob on Monday, they arrived around noon on Tuesday, and within an hour I had them installed and back in business. I was amazed how quickly the parts got here. The online video showing the procedure step by step was very helpful. Instead of disconnecting all the wires and having to keep up with which one went where, I moved each wire one by one and made sure I didn't get any of them in the wrong place. The only thing that slowed me down a bit was seeing which side of the...

This gasket is a sealing component used in select appliances. It fits between two mating parts to keep water or air where it belongs, helping prevent leaks and ensuring proper performance. What it does:
- Forms a tight seal between components or housings
- Helps prevent water drips, seepage, or air leaks at the joint
- Maintains correct appliance performance by keeping moisture/airflow contained
- Replace if the gasket is cracked, torn, flattened, or misshapen
- Common signs include residue, moisture, or visible gaps around the seal
What's included:
Install notes:
- Disconnect power; turn off the water supply before servicing
- Note the orientation of the old gasket prior to removal
- Clean and dry the mating surfaces; remove any old gasket residue
- Seat the new gasket evenly without stretching; reassemble and check for leaks or proper seal

They are 20 year old Bruce A. • Folsom , CA • March 19, 2018
This was more maintenance than a fix. I replaced the door gasket and temp sensor on my dryer. Thought what the heck and it might work more efficiently. I also replaced the shocks on my front loading washer. That was a bit of a chore, but could not have done it without the video that showed how to replace them. The socket was the life saver. All is working just fine. Who knows maybe I'll get another 20 year out of them.

Motor died on washer Timothy P. • Los Angeles , CA • July 27, 2014
I took the easy fix first and replaced the Capacitor. That got me three loads before the motor burned out. I ordered the motor from AppliancePartsPros.com after a google search for "best price model # 134159500 Drive motor " The part arrived in 5 days, and it took about 15 minutes to remove the old motor and replace it with the new one. Simple and easy. four screws, four nuts, and two electrical connections. — The hardest step was one of the four mounting screws was way back inside and it took...

Frigidaire washer not draining water and loud noise while trying to drain water Tolga A. • Sammamish , WA • September 18, 2015
When I removed a bunch of very wet soaking towels at the end of a wash cycle, it was clear that the water was not draining properly. The washer also made a very loud noise during the water drain period. That was suspicious. I ordered the part, opened the washer, removed the old pump and faced with a nasty surprise.
You may laugh at this, but there was a toothpick in the old drain pump! most of it was still there, and it seemed like the toothpick was stuck in the pump in such a position that it...

Leaky drain hose Rocco S. • Rochester , NY • February 24, 2017
Simply open the top of the washer by inserting a putty knife (watch YouTube ) and then the front panel by removing two bottom philips head screws on the front. The whole front panel comes right off. Using pliers the spring clams holding each hose, they come off and each hose is replaced. The drain one was only leaking but since it has open I changed both and even the drive belt. Whole job less than 1 hour. BTW parts arrived next day!
