I think I could have just replaced the pump, but I chose to replace the whole assembly. The part is more expensive, but all the gaskets, etc, that come with it are new and that made sense to change all at once. I was able to change this in about 30 minutes, without removing the washer from the under-counter space. Funny, my husband did it. We have a service contract but you know how long that still takes. So he found the part at the bottom of the dishwasher and it had a number on it. He went to your site and and found the part. Yes it was a little cheaper else where like everything else but what the other sites didn't have he said was the video on how to do it. Ordered numerous replacement parts. Started with the tracks which required pulling the washer out of the cabinet to reach the screws. Pushed it back in and re-secured. Then stared on the rack and replaced the rack adjusters and various clips. Everything is straight forward and easy to replace. I originally called a local repair place to have them repair it.
