Art November 02, 2019 for Model Number She55p05uc/64 Upper rake glasses and are not getting cleaned. Bottom tank dishes are fine. Replaced both arms. Powered flushed vertical tube. Tried flushed sump as well. I don't think the upper arm is rotating.
1 Answer Art, with the work and checks you've done and before you replace the circulation pump, the next check should be the water level and water temperature at the bottom of the tub. Start the dishwasher in a regular cycle, let it run for a few minutes. Unlatch the door and remove the lower rack, use a ruler or tape measure and measure the depth of the water as close to the center of the tub as possible, the depth should be 3/4 to 1 inch deep, and the water temperature should be 120 dgrs, F. If the water. If the water level isn't in range, the water can't flow through the pump and up the manifold to operate the upper spray arm. The water temperature needs to be 120 dgrs, F, to properly dispense and dissolve the detergent and proper wash and dissolve the grease and debris from the articles inside the dishwasher. Vinnie October 31, 2019 I replaced my circulation pump on my Bosch dishwasher following your video and now my unit does not seem to want to fill. Yes, I did turn the water valve back on under my sink. Thoughts?
1 Answer Vinnie, the wiring connections will need to be inspected to ensure that none have come loose and the water lines will need to be inspected for any kinks. Read More...

Jim August 26, 2019 for Model Number SHX43C02UC/46 Replaced Circulation Pump and Motor Assembly. Drains and fills normally, but circulation pump still won't run, only makes a couple clicks (sounds like solenoid) and very soft humming noise. I doubt this is the pump as it is brand new. Triple checked wiring, all looks good. What could this be? And how do I confirm it's not the pump? Thank you.
1 Answer Jim, With the circulation pump not running then this sounds likely that either there is no water getting into the unit to circulate or the main control board is faulty. Read More...
Jim August 22, 2019 for Model Number SHX43C02UC/46 Dishwasher starts normally with the drain pump, then fills, but instead of starting the circulation pump next, it just makes a loud whining noise (similar to accelerating a car in neutral) and won't run or circulate water. Is this a failed circulation pump or something else? The float switch was replaced approximately one year ago. Drain pump is also relatively new. Thanks.
1 Answer Hello Jim, it sounds like the circulation motor impellor has failed, the replacement part is AP3842231]. Read More...
Am March 09, 2019 for Model Number SHE43p22uc/64 SHE43p22uc/64 My Bosh dishwasher developed rattling noise in the middle of the cycle. Sounds like something rubbing on the impeller or some rotating parts. Bought water pump but I do not think that is the problem. When I push the red arm up on the side, pump drained. Dishwasher rattling noise does not stop. It is rattling but I am not sure if water is coming. Not sure if circulation pump is a culprit. Need some help to diagnose if circulation pump is a problem. Noise is coming from this area.
1 Answer Am, It would be recommended to check to see if there is something caught in the circulation pump and if there is not then this would most likely be caused by a bad pump. Read More...
Attila January 17, 2019 for Model Number SHE43R55UC/64 I filled up my dishwasher last night before going to bed and started it. When I woke up in the morning, the motor was still going on but the dishes were not cleaned . There was no water in the bottom and it sounds like the drain pump is going on all the time. When I turned it of it stops, but when I turn it on it starts again right away. Is it a faulty drain pump or is there a switch that doesn't turn the pump off? Seems like the drain pump is stuck on the on position all the time. Thank you.
1 Answer Attila, you are going to want to check underneath the dishwasher. If you remove the front panel off of the base, you will be able to see in between the dishwasher cabin and the base pan. You will want to look to see if there is water in that base pan because the base has a float that is responsible for "sensing" a water leak. If there is water leaking into the pan, it will cause the float to float up and engage a switch that forces the drain pump on and turns the water valve off. If there is water in the pan, you will want to locate the source of the water leak. Read More...
David December 30, 2018 for Model Number SHE55M15UC/64 Bosch dishwasher works fine, washes fine, and drains fine, but water fills back into the sump/base of the dishwasher. Typically we run the dishwasher once per day, but additionally we now need to also drain it once a day. If we forget, it rises enough to leak out around the door. I have checked and cleaned the the check valve, which seems to be fine. It drains as normal during a cycle, so I don't think its the drain pump. The drain hose is connected into the insinkerator and is the correct height. So I think that is fine. I don't believe water is running back down into the dishwasher through the drain hose, as the water that collects in the base is clear and clean. We do have a cracked handle, and one of the buttons has popped out, but all electronics work fine, so I don't think it is a fault of the electronic panel. Is there a water inlet valve thats faulty? Given that I prolly need to replace the cracked handle as well as this water issue, is it cost effective to fix? Im handy enough to fix it if it is.
1 Answer David, This issue would most likely be caused by a faulty water valve which would be part number 00622058. Read More...
David November 24, 2018 for Model Number SHX33RF5UC/64 My Bosch dishwasher worked great until yesterday.wife noticed it was taking an unusually long time to finish. The water is heating and there are no blockages in the arms or filter or screen but it’s like there is not enough water pressure to turn the top arm. It rotates freely by hand and not stopped up. I have it out and on its back with just wandering if it is the circulating pump before I replace it
1 Answer David, make sure the micro filter that is located in the bottom of the tub is not plugged up, other than that, you may not have a circulation motor that is building up enough pressure to send water up to the upper spray arm and it will need to be replaced. Part for the motor is 00442548 Read More...
Dan September 23, 2018 for Model Number SHE55M06UC/53 Bosch dishwasher has water coming out of the lower swing arm, but it does not rotate. Not receiving any water from the upper rack swing arm or the upper spray nozzle. Checked the swing arm outlets and the filters for cleanliness. Impetller looks good. It takes mild force to rotate, but not binding. Am I looking at a new pump or what else shoudl I check?
1 Answer Dan, either you don't have enough water going into the tub or your wash motor is failing. Make sure your filter is clear and not plugged up and your spray arms are not full of food or a mineral build up. Read More...
