For Bosch Dishwasher Circulation Pump And Motor Assembly (Part Number: OEM11526702)

Tom Allen for Model Number SHE55M15UC/64

I have a 2012 Bosch SHE55M15UC/64 that has run flawlessly. The circulating pump is cycling on and off. It starts out on 1-2 seconds and off 1-2 seconds, and the off time gradually increases to 15 or so seconds. It seems like maybe some type of thermal overload or capacitor issue. The pump does turn freely and pump when it is on. The drain pump, fill valve, float switch, sump filling, etc all work fine. Before I order a $200 pump, I was looking for some thoughts if there is something else in the control circuit that might cause this. Thanks Tom

Tom, We would have to agree with you, and suspect the 00442548 / 442548 circulation pump as the culprit. Of course you want to check and make sure there are no loose wire connections to the motor, and that the door closes and latches properly and the door switches make contact and remain closed during the cycle.

Tom, This issue would either be the pump that is causing the issue or a control board. If the relay on the control board is engaging intermittently then this would cause the issue but it sounds more likely that the pump would be the issue.

Ms for Model Number Bosch SHE46C06UC/33

The circulation pump/motor assembly (00442548) showed for this model also shows a related part (Impeller and Seal Kit #935404). Will the impeller kit work with this circulation pump? When I search by model number, it does not show up. Also, how do I decide what I really need? 10yr old dw..was working fine till yesterday. Water seems to be going in (opened up the side and can see water going in through inlet valve), drains perfectly fine, but arms do not seem to be rotating and top arm gets no water. When I look at the circulation pump side, I can see the motor spin so it is working. When I put my finger in to check the impeller, I can rotate the motor with the impeller but the impeller seems to be loose...as if it is simply placed there and I am in fact pushing/rotating it and the motor.

MS, Yes the 00167085 Impeller kit fits your dishwasher. Your information would indicate the impeller has come loose from the hub and is not pressurizing or moving the water. The Pump Repair kit is in stock and available at this time. Thanks

Chris, Unfortunately we do not have a wiring diagram for this unit to be able to assist properly.

Tom for Model Number SHE43R55UC

My dishwasher stopped cleaning the dishes and took forever to complete a cycle. This seemed to be due to the heater not working. The local repair guy came a diagnosed it and says the heater is bad. I bought a new one, replaced it, and the problem persisted. I checked the control board output and it was delivering 120V when heat was supposed to be running, so was pretty confident the problem wasn't the controller. The only thing left that seemed like it could be holding off the heater was the flow switch (which is new with the new heater) so I opened everything up again and bypassed the flow/pressure switch in the heating circuit. The heater now runs, finishes in normal cycle time and the dishes are much cleaner. So, is it possible I have two heaters with two bad flow switches, or is it likely that the circ pump is degraded and not delivering enough pressure to make the water flow switch reliably. The water is definitely being sprayed into the washer through the arms and they are moving... Is there anything else that could be preventing the flow switch from closing to allow the heater to run? I took the whole heater, pump, drain assembly apart and checked for blockages and found no problems.

Hello Tom. It is possible you got a bad heater. However, you will need to check your wiring first and make sure it is good.

Groniff for Model Number Bosch SHE58C06UC/50

Bosch SHE58C06UC/50 dishwasher running trouble-free for 7 years until today. Please confirm my diagnosis: Noise (grinding or droning) starts approximately 65 seconds after start of a short wash cycle (nominally 30 min cycle), or up to 90 seconds after the start of a long wash cycle (nominally 90 min) and continues until I turn off the machine by opening the door for fear of doing damage.. With the bottom access panel removed, when I start a cycle, I can feel hot water passing through the water inlet right-angle elbow, so I am sure that the inlet valve is working. Then the noise starts after the water begins to fill the interior. The noise is coming from the right side. If I then open the door, I can see some water (not much) accumulated in the sump. When I then close the door and push two buttons simultaneously ("Auto Wash" & "Delicate/Econo") to drain the sump, the sump pump appears to do its job, because I can hear the water entering the disposal and I hear a pump activated. If the problem is the circulation pump, what gaskets or other components should I also replace (7 year old machine) as long as I am going to do this extensive repair? Thanks for your help.

Groniff, The circulation pump will have the seals with it and would be no other parts needed. You will also want to check to make sure that there is nothing caught in the impeller that would cause this issue.

Bern for Model Number Bosch SHX46A05 UC/26

We have been getting a leak from what appears to be the joint where the circulation pump body and the lower part of the pump housing lock together. I replaced the impeller and seals (using part #167085) but now the leak is worse. Still looks like it is coming from the same spot although it is hard to tell. Could this be an indication that the pump itself is bad (although with new seals I don't know why it would LEAK -- just wouldn't work) or is it more likely that my installation of the impeller and seals was done incorrectly? The water is NOT leaking from where the pump connects to the heating element or the sump.

1 Answer

Hello Bern, This sounds like the seals are not seating. I would try dis-assembly again and try to make sure the seals are positioned correctly. If they still do not seat, replace the pump.

Hello Morgan! Yes, the circulation pump 00442548 is a direct Bosch OEM part. It should function as the original did. Thanks.

Kevin for Model Number Sgs69T02EU07

Hi, when I set to auto 55-65 or auto 35-45 and run the washer water sometimes doesn't fill the machine. The bosch technician came with 2 parts a heating board and the pump hose for attachment to the tap. I had to go run some errand didn't see what he did. Says he tested the two parts and both were ok. Says left side panel was full of water. Says problem could be recirculation pump. Sometimes problem is intermittent water does fill up sometime it doesn't. If it does fill the rinsing or cleaning is bad. Leaving stains. the last part of the cycle where machine drains but doesnt refill. Could this be due to a bad recirculating pump ?

1 Answer

Kevin, The recirculation pump most likely would not cause the issue with the unit. The things that would most likely cause this issue would be a bad water valve, a bad control board or the connector that connects to the sink.

Hello Scott. Remove the filters from the unit and make sure there is nothing clogged inside the unit. If not, then you will need to replace the circulation pump on the unit.
