Kathy March 02, 2015 for Model Number RB526DPBB My oven is not holding temp, would it be element or thermocoupler oven was on fire from bacon oil
1 Answer Kathy, You will want to check the element to make sure that it is not burnt through anywhere. Also check to make sure that there is continuity. If this checks ok then test the oven sensor to make sure that it is at 1090 ohms at room temp. If the resistance does not fall within specs then it is faulty and would need to be replaced. Sean K November 30, 2014 for Model Number ge ELECTRIC RANGE LOWER BAKE ELEMENT (NOT SURE) I ordered a unit from you. It didn't match up to mine. My unit has screw holders on the side (not the top) of the metal plate. Also, my plate was much closer to the end of the prongs. Your unit had prongs that were far to long... Hit the back of my stove when i tried to stick them in. Any suggestions as to a bake element for a ge electric oven lower bake element that has a metal plate with screw hole holders on the side and shorter prongs? Also, how do I return the element I purchased from you?
