Hello Shon, This is most likely a power supply issue on the main board WR55X10942C. While there is the chance that the dispense board WR55X10859 had incurred damage, it is more likely to be an issue with the main board.

Rhonda, The most likely cause for the dispenser to not stop dispensing water would either be that the switch is sticking or the water valve on the unit is not closing. You would want to check the switch to make sure that it is good and if it checks ok then the water valve would most likely be the issue.

Hello Bill, If the switch WR23X10783 tests good and the connections and wiring harness are in good shape at the door hinge, The board WR55X10195 is the most likely suspect. Be sure the freezer compartment is not below 0°F as this can cause condensation on the auger motor and cause stoppage. Also be sure to shine a light from the outside while looking down into the ice chute. If light can be seen, air can leak through and cause condensation issues. If there is any rust on the solenoid WR62X10055, it should be replaced.

Juan, The most likely cause for the unit shutting down would be caused by a possible short in the wiring at the bottom of the door or a bad control board.

Dan F., You will want to check the wire harness at the bottom of the door to make sure that the harness is not damage or have broken wires. If the wiring checks ok then the main control board would be the issue with the main control board.

Hello Chris, If the water pressure to the valve is low or the new valve is defective, there will be residual runtime, (3 seconds after release is the symptom), just as there is when air gets in the system. There is also the possibility of a loose water line or a pin hole in a water line allowing air into the system. It is important to throw out about 2 gallons to ensure all of the system is properly purged.
