Tim March 17, 2014 for Model Number GSDL352F00cc My GE Triton dishwasher always has 2 inches of water left in the tub after every wash. I tried changing the small pump and I still have the same problem. The main pump seems to be pumping fine. I did notice when I took the pump off the rubber valve flapper was mangled and probably not seating properly. Is this the problem or could it be something else? Thank you
1 Answer Hello Tim. If the flap is letting dirty water into the unit, it could be the issue. Try replacing the flap. If problem continues, check for clogs in the drain hose. Read More...
Toni October 27, 2012 for Model Number GHDA696Pd0255 I bought an intake valve . Water does not come in. Now it turns itself off. Thank you Dishwasher is 2 yrs old. Has always acted poorly from the first.
1 Answer Hello Toni. Check and see if the float is stuck in the up positon inside the unit, or if the float switch is bad on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Barry August 20, 2012 for Model Number pdw8680n20ss diswasher drains in all cycles, but it does not drain all the water out of machine.only when i cycle unit to drain cycle mode, it does drain all the water out of the machine.
1 Answer Barry, The valve flapper could be the issue, it may have an obsruction partially blocking the drain. But first, try disconnecting the dishwasher drain hose from the plumbing under the sink, and drain the dishwasher into a bucket. This will usually flush any debris that has accumulated in the drain hose, pump and adapters. Thanks Read More...
Mark August 04, 2011 for Model Number gld5800l00bb Sometimes my dishwasher drains too much until there is no water left and then sometimes it leaves too much water where it leaks thru the door.
1 Answer Hello Mark. Check and see if the valve flapper WD01X10175 is broke or bad on the pump. If so, it can cause the water to siphon out and back fill the machine. Hope this helps. Read More...
Ray J July 05, 2011 for Model Number GLD4406R00WW GE Dishwasher 1 1/2 years old. Water does not pump out of bottom of unit. Drain & hoses have been checked & are clear. When cycle gets to point that it should pump out, we hear a humm & clicking from control panel. Can't tell if pump is attempting to activate.
1 Answer Hello Ray. You will need to test and see if there is power coming to the pump when the unit is in drain mode. If so, and the pump just hums, you will need to replace the pump assembly WD26X22719. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps.http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Robyn June 20, 2011 for Model Number GSD66000G00WW Our Triton EL has had some difficulty draining. The pump sounds fine. The bottom rack is missing 5 of the 8 wheels and if we take it out and run the cycle it drains just fine. My husband thinks if we replace those wheels we will be set but I'm not convinced. The washer is going on 8 years old. Is there any other little pieces that could be the culprit. In my research, many other models have a flapper or a Piston and Nut that seem to cause the same type of issue but this model doesn't appear to have the piston and nut. Before I pay for shipping on the wheels only, what else should I look for in the washer and or consider replacing? Thanks - Robyn
1 Answer Hello Robyn. If the unit works properly with the bottom rack out, it sounds like the wheels WD35X21038 WD35X21041 will fix your problem. Check and make sure the pump WD26X10016 is working properly, and that the drain hose is not clogged. If the pump is good, and the hose is good, then you may have found your problem. Hope this helps. 1 Answer Hello James. Make sure the flapper is in the proper location where it should open when in the pump mode. If so, and it does not open, you will need to replace the flapper. Hope this helps. Read More...

1 Answer Hello Shadetree. It sounds like you could have a issue with the drain pump WD19X10015. Verify nothing is preventing the impeller from turning and check the drain hose for any obstrutions. Hope this helps! Read More...
