Marc April 06, 2020 for Model Number WF42H5200AP/A2-0000 Door lock stays locked after cycle. I have to turn the machine off and then back on again for the lock to release. Reviewed the Q/A section and I'm thinking IO need a new door lock switch assembly? Just want to make sure it isn't something else before buying. Thanks
1 Answer Marc, For this issue, it would be more likely for the control board to not send the signal for the door to unlock since it has to be reset to unlock the unit. Read More...
Al March 01, 2020 for Model Number WF330ANB/XAA-02 My Samsung washer model# WF330ANB/XAA-02 won't spin. What could be the cause?
1 Answer Al, You will want to get the tech sheet from inside the unit and test the RPS sensor and the door lock as these would be the most common causes. Also, make sure that the unit is draining properly because it could cause a no spin issue. Check the pressure hose for clogs and check the pressure switch to make sure that it is resetting to empty. 1 Answer Hello Claudia, You will need to check for items between the tubs and remove the motor rotor DC31-00112A and check for cracked and broken magnets inside this assembly. Also, check for damage to the motor windings DC31-00111A. The last thing to check is the "spider". To do this, open the door and lift on the spin basket. Do this in three different places in the drums' rotation. If there is more movement in one of the three positions, the spider DC97-17004E has broken. Read More...

Wade April 05, 2019 for Model Number WF331ANW/XAA Is there a repair video for replacing the door switch assemble?
1 Answer Wade, Unfortunately there is not a video for the door switch assembly but the best way to change it would be to remove the spring around the door boot and pull the door boot to the side. Remove the screws for the lock and disconnect the wires. Connect the new door switch and install with screws and then put the door boot back in place and reinstall the spring. Read More...

Mike September 20, 2017 for Model Number WF331ANW/XAA-0004 Ordered part DC64-00519D to replace my broken door lock assembly. Your website said it was compatible. IT IS NOT. Your website also said that part DC34-00024D was compatible. IT IS NOT. I reinstalled my broken door lock assembly and the washer works fine. Door is propped closed with a 2x4 and a foam pad. I noticed that your website has a lot of misinformation. I also noticed that where the wiring harness plugs into the NON compatible door lock assemblies they are missing 2 prongs where there should be 4. My original part is DC3400-24B. Your parts are not compatible with models that have this part, so stop telling people that they are. What you should do is find the part that actually has the correct # of prongs for the bottom plug. So my question is DO YOU HAVE ANY?
1 Answer Hello Mike. Sorry your having issues with the lock assembly. According to the manufacturer the correct lock is DC64-00519D. This is the only one listed for your model and we can not suggest another one in place of the manufacturer suggested part. You may have an issue with your wiring harness on the unit. You can check it to see if it is bad and will need to be replaced. Thank you. Read More...
