Matt February 21, 2020 for Model Number MFI2568AEQ Hello My ice and water dispenser stopped working. All the functions on panel work except for when I try to get ice or water. I put the fridge in service mode and when I request water I get it same for ice but only in service mode. Any help would be great. Thanks!
1 Answer Hello Matt, since dispenser works ok in service mode the control board is not allowing normal operation. Check the left side fresh food door switch is working correctly, if ok then the control board is in a safety lockout for the dispenser, this can occur if the dispenser was used continuously for over 2 minutes. To reset the control use the tech sheet supplied with the ref and go into the program mode and change the current code to 0000, then repeat and put the original code in as listed on the model /serial tag. Steve July 18, 2019 for Model Number MFI2569VEM4 Replaced HV Control Board W10310240. When i plugged it in i get PE0 000 on the display screen and nothing else lights up but it wont let me program it. I get nothing when pressing any of the display buttons no matter what i do. What else could be the problem?. There was also a loud clicking noise coming from behind the dispenser control board when i plugged the appliance in.

Rachael February 10, 2019 for Model Number Maytag Hi, I have a Maytag french door refrigerator. The front control panel has been flickering on and off for about a month now and the ice dispenser flap keep clapping back and forth. Two days ago, the panel went blank and stayed that way for over 24 hours, the refrigerator and freezer didnt maintain their temp. and everything went warm. The next morning the panel turned back on and everything is at current temp. again. Could the problem be the front panel control board, the back HV control board or something else?

Wesley February 08, 2019 for Model Number MFI2568AES Hello, Only the freezer gets cold in my fridge and the evaporator fan will only run for the first min and then shut off once i reset the power. I was thinking it might be the fan motor but the interface is also having issues. when all the harness connectors are plugged in it reads nothing and makes an alarm sound, when I unpluged the 2 switch connectors the interface works fine. I also ran the tests on the freezer fan and ice fan and the voltage displayed is only 1.1v for low and 3.5v for high which isn't right because the manual says it should be like 7v for high. Do you think it is just the control board?
1 Answer Wesley, the main control would certainly cause this issue. Based on the information provided, it looks like the main control is not distributing voltage properly. However, you will want to check the wiring harness to make sure that there are not any broken or bare connections because if there is a bare wire that is drawing voltage away from components, this can cause many issues. Alan January 04, 2019 for Model Number MF12569YEW0 I have a maytag refridgerator, we lost our power and when it came back on there must have been a power surge, it quit cooling, I replaced the high voltage circuit board and the compressor start relay and it still won"t cool, I don't seem to have 125 volts at the start relay and the control panel readout shows PE0000 and following the instructions on the tech sheet will not change the programming, any ideas what could be causing this ?
1 Answer Alan, You will want to make sure that you got the correct board which is part number WPW10312695. Just in case the tech sheet is wrong here is a copy of the programming instructions. Programming Mode: NOTE: The Program Code is located on the Serial Plate on this unit after the word Code. 1. Press and hold the Door Alarm Keypad. 2. Press and hold Freezer Temperature DOWN /- Keypad within 3 seconds. 3. Release the Door Alarm Keypad and wait 3 seconds. 4. The control will display PE to indicate the programming mode. 5. Entry is confirmed by pressing the Freezer Temperature DOWN /- Keypad once more. 6. The control will display the current Program CODE. This value should be validated with theProgram CODE printed on the unit serial plate. NOTE: If the Program CODE is correct, the Programming Mode is exited by pressing Door Alarm Keypad for 3 seconds. 7. Press the Refrigerator Temperature UP /+ Keypad or Refrigerator Temperature DOWN /- Keypad to change the digit value with each key press. 8. The decimal point indicates the selected digit.
