Diego for Model Number MDBH955AWB

My Maytag quiet series 300 legacy series does not work anymore. The last wash it left a large puddle of water on my kitchen floor but finished running the cycle. I tried running it today and the only lights that turn on my washer it the light wash, heat dry, sanitize, hi temp but will not run at all. Obviously theres power to the unit, tried doing the (push heat dry 6 times then start button) nothing happens. Do you think my control board is going bad?

Diego, It's more likely a faulty keypad / control panel 6-920244. If you have a defect in the keypad, you can't program a test mode or diagnostic test mode. The water on the floor may have been a by "product" of the confused comntrol board

Hello Dennis. Check and see if the float is stuck in the up position and is causing the pump to remain on in the unit. This can cause the issue you are having, or the micro switch under the float could be bad as well. If the tub is holding water, and is not draining, and the hose is clear, you will need to replace the pump WP6-917641 in the unit.

Ed A. for Model Number M/N MDB5601AWW, S/N 37066866LX

Problem started with some buttons not seeming to work, only working on regular cycle, etc. Now won't work at all. Verified power, door switches, etc. Per component test sheet ohm'd all membrane buttons and all showed 9.99k ohm. Cleaned ribbon cable connection, etc. Performed resistance check of all components per the sheet and they measure fine. Put all back together and ran the field service test. All leds lit up, went thru entire test as indicated on test sheet without returning any codes. After that still wont run. Light wash and some of the options buttons work, but won't start.
