Chris September 04, 2011 for Model Number DU1055XTPB4 Dishwasher quiet no lights at all and it will not start. I'm thinking it's the control board what do you think?
1 Answer Hello Chris. You will need to test the thermal fuse W10258275. It is located on the control board. It should read closed for continuity. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...

Charlie August 15, 2011 for Model Number Whirlpool GU3600XTSY2 My Whirlpool Quiet Partner IV Dishwasher does not start. The model number is GU3600XTSY2. After I discontined and reconnected the power to the dishwasher, the "Power Scour" light was blinking. And when I pressed "Cancel" or "Start" button, the "Power Scour" light stays blinking, "Pots & Pans" and "Normal" lights start blinking as well. Now three button lights are blinking. If you now press any buttons, no more response from the dishwasher, except the three blinking lights. Your helps are greatly appreciated. Charlie
1 Answer Hello Charlie. Check and make sure the door switches are good. If so, make sure the ribbon cable from the control panel to the control board is clean and dry. Kb August 12, 2011 I just changed to a new control board and the Normal cycle time seems to be about 3 hours.
1 Answer Hello KB. That sounds correct. Cycle time is based on a number of factors in the cleaning cycle. How dirty the dishes are, the water temperature, and the options selected on the control board WPW10084141. Hope this helps. Read More...
Kenny August 12, 2011 for Model Number 665.13749k601 Getting power to circuit board. Power to right door switch but not to left ,no lights on control panel is this a board problem? Thanks
1 Answer Hi Kenny. Check with the connections at the junction box below behind the toe kick panel. The hot L-1 9blk) and the neutral (white)wire will both go to the door switches. If you have to replace one you should replace both because of age/usage issues. Then check to see if you get 120vac to both door common switch terminals. Then by closing the door latch you should get 120vac to the board. This board is part # WPW10084141. Thank you. Read More...
Sarah August 04, 2011 for Model Number Kenmore 665.13769K602 Various lights flash randomly on the control panel on the front of the door. No wash cycle will start. Sometimes the wash or drain will start up with the start button or the cancel/drain button, and then stop almost right away. Sometimes nothing happens when I push start or cancel. I turned off the circuit breaker, but the problem continued when I turned it back on. I tried the reset system of pushing heated dry the normal wash 3 times: all the lights came on, and then the smart wash light came on with the heated dry, start and clean lights, and the machine began to drain. I repeated the process several times, but all the lights did not come on again; various cycle lights came on separately, but no cycle or drain started up. So, what does this mean? Can I fix it myself?
1 Answer Hi Sarah. If you are giving and receiving commands from the control panel, Then your control board is not operating correctly. This part # is part # WPW10084141. There is a in-line fuse to the board that needs change also, part # is W10258275. Thank you. Read More...
