Jeremy November 10, 2013 for Model Number DU1055xtvs1 Hey there, Our dishwasher has been acting up for over 2months now and it will start cycles and then shut off. If I play with it and keep restarting approx. 5-10 times then occasionally it will finish a cycle but we are wasting lots of water. Tried reseting using various reset codes found online and turning off the breaker and reseting, but seems to be getting worse about not completing cycles. It will just click and turn off. Was going to buy the control panel and replace, but wanted to get another opinion. Thanks.
1 Answer Jeremy, This issue does not sound like it is the control panel but would be a faulty control board. The control board part number is WPW10084142. Read More...

George July 24, 2013 for Model Number GU2455XTSB3 This problem may be associated with a thunder storm ? Keep getting H1 and H2 in the clock window machine stops and has to be reset by turning off power - I'm feeling 99% its the main circuit board
1 Answer Hello George. Test all the heating circuit first and if good, replace the control board in the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Greg June 01, 2013 for Model Number KitchenAid KUDK031TBT2 Have about a 5 year old KitchenAid dishawasher model KUDK031TBT2. When trying to start the unit we select "Normal Wash" and "Heat Dry" and the start light will not come on nor does the unit respond. It just keeps the comand lights lit but nothing happens. I have been researching and have already ran a dignosic check and it appears to cycle through various commands. Still noting after the dignistic check has been ran. I have alos tried shutting the power off to the unit and see if this resets it. Still not able to start. I am leaning to either the control panel or control board but iI do not know where else to start. Any ideas???????
1 Answer Greg, You will want to check the door switch to make sure that it is not faulty. If the door switches check ok then the control panel would most likely be the cause of failure. Read More...

Rj May 11, 2013 for Model Number 665.13469k900 Dishwasher started then stopped, lost power to board. There's a little silver and black thing that goes in the gray clip on board power into it but not out of it and I have no idea what the part is.
1 Answer RJ, The part that you are referring to would most likely be the thermal fuse W10258275. If the thermal fuse fails there will be no power going to the control board. You can test the thermal fuse for continuity. If there is no continuity then the thermal fuse is faulty and will need to be replaced. Read More...

K Lester April 21, 2013 for Model Number 665.13833K601 Hi, My kenmore dishwasher - 665.13833K601 - stopped running cycles and now the normal light continues to flash. No lights work when the corresponding button is pressed (there is a faint glow behind all the buttons) except cancel, which then starts to flash along with the normal light but eventually stops, leaving only the normal light flashing. I've tried turning the power off as well as running diagnostic tests & although the dishwasher cycled through, I had no idea what I was looking for. I called a technician out who didn't tell me exactly what the problem was (he mentioned it could be several things - control panel or 1 of the 2 control boards) but quoted me a price so inflated, that I could just buy a new dishwasher. I'm decently handy, so I'm trying to find a solution that I can do myself before just buying a new unit. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
1 Answer K Lester, You most likely have a faulty key pad on the control panel " PROBLEM: Won’t Run and LED Above Key(s) is Flashing Rapidly > Short circuit(s) in keypad or in control’s input lines that read the keys.> Don’t replace both: See first section of“Checking Keypad Operation” for test to determine whether shorts are in the keypad or the control." Having run the diagnostics test with no issues, the control board is OK. Read More...

1 Answer Hello Henry, The problem may be that the unit is not draining properly. You will want to check to make sure that there is nothing clogged up in the drain or the drain pump that would cause to not fully drain. Read More...
