Jatin S August 15, 2015 for Model Number KUDS01FLSS1 Dishwasher suddenly stopped working. All lights work but nothing happens when I press the start button. All the lights work. When I reboot all light come up but nothing happens. I have already changed the control board as well as user interface but behavior is same. What else could be wrong? 1 Answer Jatin, You will want to test the door switches on the unit as this will be the most likely cause for the unit to not start. You will need to check the continuity of the switches and check the door latch also to make sure that it is not damaged. Joseph April 11, 2014 for Model Number kitchenaidkuds01flwh6 Dishwasher stops about 30 min into cycle, then the clean light flashes contentiously 7 blinks at a time. I tested the heating element at 13.7 oms, secured all wiring, door is lined up, unclogged the cover to the chopper. I clear the error code, it goes into a short rinse. l then star the normal wash cycle and the problem repeats. Think I might have to replace control-board? Can you please advise. Plus, not sure if I want to put any more money into the dishwasher. Went to look at new dishwashers ($500-1000) and they all seemed poorly built/cheaply made. Can you also recommend a good product? Thank you.
1 Answer Joseph, It sounds like the heating element checks ok but you will want to check the thermostat to make sure that it is good. If the thermostat is faulty then it will cause the issue.
