Elainia September 24, 2018 for Model Number WTW6200VW0 My 5 year old Cabrio, starting throwing a UL error code. I researched and learned that the problem was the suspension rods. I ordered the whole kit, changed everything out. Took it for a test spin and now it is making a horrible knocking noise and shaking to the point it moves around when it goes into a spin cycle. Any help is appreciated, am so frustrated with this washer.
1 Answer Elainia, Make sure unit is level and all the rods are set down into the bushings on the top. If one of the rods is sticking out of the bushings more than the other 3 it makes the tub off balance. Read More...
Ryan October 20, 2016 for Model Number Whirlpool Washer Hello, Is there any good way to tell if the plastic bushings are worn out? Is there a certain wear pattern?
1 Answer Hello Ryan. Usually the rods will fail way before the bushings wear out. The new rods usually come with new bushings. If your having a balance issue, you will need to replace the rods. Read More...

Sally R June 01, 2013 for Model Number 110.27092602 I dropped coins in the washer. I removed the agitator (low boy). No coins. I understand coins can get in the pump and break it. I can't find a filter. What now? Do I have to remove the basket? If so, what am I looking for? Are the coins in the motor below the basket? I really really appreciate your help.
1 Answer Sally, You will want to make sure that the coins are not located in between the tubs, so you would want to pull the inner basket. If they are not located there then you will want to take the front panel off the unit and access the drain pump. Take the hose off that goes to the tub and check the hose. If not in the hose then remove the pump and make sure that they are not in the pump assembly. Read More...
