Olga April 09, 2012 for Model Number DU810SWPQ4 Hello! I've got a new Whirpool dishwasher, where cover latch doesn't hold the cover of the soap dispenser for some reason. So, the cover of dispenser cannot close. The cover latch number AP3130817 looks very similar to mine. Will it work for my dishwasher model? Will it fix the problem? Thank you in advance!
1 Answer Hi Olga. There is a latch kit part # 676413. Kit for soap cup door. Includes detergent latch and snap. The lid spring is part # WP8066018. The dispenser completer kit part # 4387043. The complete dispenser part # WP8052027. As you are in the inner door /timer area, make sure all mechanisims are timmed correctly. The timer actuator part # 8193646 needs to be together with the timer in the off position. Thank You. Read More...

Matt September 17, 2011 for Model Number du850swpu3 The soap door will not open when I run a cycle. The latch is holding the door shut but when I turn the dial it still won't open the soap door. Which parts do I need to fix this?
1 Answer Hello Matt. If there is power going to the dispenser, but it does not open, you will need to replace the dispenser assembly WP8052027. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Thurman August 14, 2011 for Model Number DU943PWKTO I have had a leak in my dishwasher door for some time now & can't figure out where it was coming from. I replaced the door seal and the same thing...leaked. I have now figured out (i think) where it is coming from. The soap latch kit but by replacing the latch I am not sure if that will cure the problem. Does the latch ball wear causing it to leak from there? I cleaned the whole area hoping it would be the cause,it was not. Any answers ?
1 Answer Hello Thurman. If the unit is leaking from the latch assembly, you will need to replace the latch kit 676413. Check and make sure it is not leaking from the reservoir for the rinse aid. Hope this helps. Read More...

Meandme May 03, 2011 for Model Number DU945PWSQ0 I have purchased and new door and spring, but still cannot get the door to spring open like it used to do. I keep trying to find a close up picture of how the spring and door connect, but can't find that either. What is going wrong. The door will not self open, it just sits there when it is not latched.
1 Answer Hello Meandme. There are different holes along the side of the dishwasher frame that the springs can attach to. You can set the tension of the springs by using the different holes. This way you can set the door to how you want it to operate. We do not have any pictures other than the parts diagram page. Hope this helps. Read More...
