Paul October 17, 2019 Need to replace a sensor in my Thermador oven. Best I can tell, it is a model # C302BS. Numbers on sensor are SD10244586, 5020010753, and 684158992. What is the correct part number for ordering a replacement sensor?
Mary August 26, 2019 for Model Number Jenn Air SVE47100 The oven will only go up to 350°F on the display. It will not go any higher. The temperature also only goes as high as 350°F.
1 Answer Hello Mary, You should first check the oven sensor 12001656. This should read about 1100O at about 70°F. If good, the issue is most likely in the clock assembly. If the serial number begins with 14 or lower you would need 71002331. If the serial number begins with 15 or higher you will need WP74004746. Read More...
1 Answer Hello Shannon, the model number you provided is showing as valid but to answer your question,is it is not hard at all. First look in the oven and see if the sensor has 2 screws holding it in place ,if no screws then the probe is mounted on the rear outside of the oven liner, turn off power to the oven, pull it out far enough to access the rear area, unscrew the screws holding the rear outer cabinet panel, once off you will see the sensor, its just 2 screws and a wire harness disconnect plug. James June 03, 2019 my my Maytag in wall oven was operating at 200 degrees for 30 minutes and then gave F2 error and broil element would not shut down. only way to stop operating was to trip breaker oven new in home in 2000. what is problem?
1 Answer Hello James, the F2 code is an oven overheat code caused by the broil element coming on full in a bake cycle, that would be caused by the broil element relay on the control or relay board sticking closed. We would need the wall oven's model number to assist you further. Read More...
Tracey March 02, 2019 for Model Number GY397LXUS02 Oven would not heat up. We replaced oven sensor first, that did not help, so also replaced bake element. Now, oven turns on when circuit breaker is on and heats uncontrollably super high. It will not cancel or turn off, we have to turn off circuit. Any other fixes?
1 Answer Harriette, you will need to access your door switch to check the microswitch from COM to NO, plunger in, you should read continuity, plunger out, no continuity. If the switch checks ok, you will need to replace the control board. Part number for the switch is 74001802, control board is 74009320. Read More...
Midnightdriver2 January 02, 2019 for Model Number JJW8430DDS Lower oven temperature sensor unit wiring burnt up @ the connector (ie: no connector to plug a new part into). Is a wiring harness available or replacement connector available to splice into the existing wiring harness?
1 Answer midnightrider2, you can wire the oven sensor direct without using a plug. Make sure to get a good splice and then use ceramic wire nuts or a good insulator to protect the splice. Read More...
Rusty December 11, 2018 for Model Number JDR8895AAS The bottom of the two ovens is getting excessively hot. Went up to over 600 degrees according to thermometer my wife put in there. Seems the heating element is not cutting off to maintain desired temp. Would this be an Oven Temp. Sensor problem or the motherboard? Oven is 8 years old. Thanks.
1 Answer Rusty, first I would check the oven sensor in the bottom oven to see if it is reading temperature correctly. It should read about 1080 ohms at room temperature. If it is off by more than 10%, replace the sensor. If the sensor is correct, You will need to replace the main control, part number for the control is WP5701M796-60, the sensor is part number WP7430P044-60 Read More...
John November 22, 2018 for Model Number whirlpool wfe505w0hz0 oven out of calibration replaced the oven sensor part #12001656 still the same problem! If it's the oven control board or another part to control the oven what part is it and part number. John
1 Answer John, most control boards can be re-calibrated if the temperature is 20-30 degrees off, the directions for re-calibration should be in your Use and Care manual. If it is reading temperatures greater than that, you would need to replace the main control board, especially since you have already replaced the oven sensor. Part number is W11567368 Read More...
Wayne August 14, 2018 for Model Number MEW6530DDS Bake and bake convection does not work. I all ready tried replacing mother board and did not fix the problem.
1 Answer Wayne, Always check your house wiring at the terminal on the back to make sure 240 vac present at l1 and l2.The only other thing is a thermal protector that would stop voltage to elements located behind door lock that would need tested for continuity. If failed test replace part # 74008265 Read More...
