Nancy July 14, 2023 for Model Number WTW4950XW3 I have a whirlpool washer model WTW4950XW3. It is not spinning out all the water. As if the load needs to be re-balanced. I have pulled everything out and re-balanced it and hit the start button again it spins but clothes are still heavy with water. No noticeable water setting in tub. I have to cancel the cycle and then put it on a drain spin cycle and it will spin the water out of the clothes. I pulled the drain hose. There was about a gallon of water that I got in my bucket. I pulled the pump and there was no noticeable clogs. The washer is not off-balance and does not shake could this be a pump issue or? Just don’t want to buy a pump if it might be in the board and more expensive. Thank you for your help Nancy.

Brian May 09, 2023 for Model Number CAW9444XQ4 On the drain & spin setting my drain pump isn't coming on. I unplugged the drain pump and connected a test cord directly to it and the drain pump will run. Does this sound like a main control board problem? Thanks.

Brandon August 09, 2022 for Model Number Ntw4700yq1 Drain pump doesn't drain any water out. It is getting 117 volts. I bought and installed a new pump, same thing. Gets voltage, but doesn't drain water out. No blockage in pipes. I already checked. Funny part is that 117 volts is always presen even if I have unit display completely off (Still plugged in the outlet though). Is there a possible control board issue?

Ld January 27, 2020 for Model Number WTW5640XW3 Ran diagnostics, replaced splutch and actuator. Did re-calibration a couple of times. Did manual test per step 7. The pump seems noisy but it does drain but not always completely. Unplug the machine, it may work for the first load. After that it seems to get stuck on the drain cycle and it sounds like it is pulsating, then the spin light comes on and the machine stops.

Amy August 16, 2018 for Model Number MVWC200XW3 Ran a load and a clicking noise occurred and then machine would not drain and spin. Just the noise. I did diagnostics and error code was F9 E1 for pump slow to drain. I took hose off pump and found a sock blocking it. Removed sock and put back together. Ran small load without issue. Ran diagnostics again and still got same code. Do I need to replace the pump?
