Nancy for Model Number WTW4950XW3 I have a whirlpool washer model WTW4950XW3. It is not spinning out all the water. As if the load needs to be re-balanced. I have pulled everything out and re-balanced it and hit the start button again it spins but clothes are still heavy with water. No noticeable water setting in tub. I have to cancel the cycle and then put it on a drain spin cycle and it will spin the water out of the clothes. I pulled the drain hose. There was about a gallon of water that I got in my bucket. I pulled the pump and there was no noticeable clogs. The washer is not off-balance and does not shake could this be a pump issue or? Just don’t want to buy a pump if it might be in the board and more expensive. Thank you for your help Nancy.
Answer Hello Nancy, there is more than one possible cause for poor spin speed, the diagnostic mode needs to be run first to find the root cause, it is on the Tech Sheet that came with the washer and is located behind the front cabinet panel near the top in a plastic envelope.
