Hello BK! If the dryer starts to heat but does not maintain the heat it is more than likely the secondary valve. You will need to replace both valves as a kit. Your part number is 279834. Thanks!

Hi Chewy. The most common issue when a gas dryer is not working is the need to change igniter part # 279311. Igniters will get weak and open so you will not pull amperage to allow the gas valve to open. Thank you.

Hi Andrew. At this point I will suggest 2 parts. The Igniter is the first part that weak en's and may open under flame shutting the gas flow. This part # is 4391996. The flame senser is mounted on the lt. side of the heater can. It is normally closed and opens the coil under normal temperature cycling. This part # is WP338906. This will solve the issues you have. Thank you.

Hello Diana. Yes, you will want to shut off the gas. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the coils 279834 are bad and needs to be replaced. Check the coils 279834 and see if they test good. You can test the coils using a multi-meter MA-DM1. The two prong coil will read 1,000-1,300 ohms, and the three prong coil will read 1,300-1,400 ohms across prongs 1&2, and 500-600 ohms across prongs 1&3. Test the after running the dryer for about 10 minutes. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html

Hello Sussan. You will need to check and make sure none of the wires inside the dry got unplugged while you were cleaning it and replacing the rollers. If they are good, you can test the flame sensor WP338906 It should read closed for continuity. If it is open, you will need to replace the flame sensor. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps.http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
