Hello Stephen, Part number WPW10705575 is the correct part number for the sensor on your unit. You do not want to apply anything to the o ring and you want to make sure that when installed it seated fully and not sitting at an angle.

Hello A. J., Without a model number, we cannot say for sure if this is the correct sensor for the pump or not. There are two sensors that are comparable in size, but they are not interchangeable. You could order it and see if it fits if you cannot locate the model number on the original sales receipt.

My dishwasher stopped working as if there was no power. I foound that the fuse had blown and the heating element fried. so I ordered those two parts from you, installed them and it came back to life. But then it would intermittently cycle through and end stop with the clean light blinking 7x's and pausing and then repeat it. I found how to cancel and reset the panel. That did not resolve the problem however. The blinking clean light comes on whether in normal wash or high temp wash, and it does this intermittently. Some times it cylces through ok and sometimes not. I then found on your site that if the check valve/grinder area is blocked it may also cause this to happen. And I did find it was partionly blocked. So that was completly cleaned out. But did not solve the problem. I then thought the control board must have been damaged somehow. so I purchased a new one from you guys but the problerm is occurrs. the last part I thought might need to be replaced was the sensor. But I don't know how to test it as it come with a wire harness plug in. and I'm not sure this would fail and cause the 7 blinks, pause, 7 blinks, .... to happen. I'm at the point of purchasing a new one but thought to ask if this little part may have been the problem before I do so. thanks.

Roger, Did you check the limit thermostat WP661566 for a "closed" circuit ? and make sure it hasn't beed dislodged from the bracket and is touching the tub. If all's OK, you will need to check the water temperature in the bottom of the tub after the first fill of a wash cycle. The water temp. in the tub needs to be at least 120 dgrs.F. at the stsrt of the cycle for the control and sensors operate properly. If the water is not hot enough, the control cannot heat the water to the minimum standard(140 or 160 dgs.F.depending on cycle and selection made) and the "clean" light will flash seven times, indicating a heater issue.

While cleaning our machine (due to very hard water) I accidentally broke a small part of the plastic piece of the sensor that protrudes into the tub. But my part is clear plastic and does not have the longer protusion that the picture for part AP4410881 shows. Is this the correct part? I'm hoping the thorough cleaning helps our machine start cleaning better again. The top rack dishes do not get clean anymore. There was a significant amount of calcium deposits on pump assembly and screen are. Thanks for any help

Hi Mike. This sensor part #WPW10705575 is the replacement part for your unit. It has been upgraded so it looks a little different. Use a little liquid dishwasher soap on the o-ring to insert it into the tub. You need to twist and pull the part out. Thank You.

Kent, There are two systems, when it comes to a fill cycle on a dishwasher, the "float" or overfill switch, and a maximum fill time, controlled through the board circuitry. Ideally, the float rises with the water level in the tub, the switch opens and the circuit to the fill valve ceases and the water stops. If there is a slow fill issue, and the float switch isn't opened in a preset amount of time(3 to 5 minutes) the control board activates the wash motor and opens the water valve fill circuit and the water stops. At this point, with a new control board and the dishwasher filling and stopping the fill, we need to start checking the motor capacitor and the P9(blue/red) wire and P5(blue/white) wire from the control board to the motor. Thanks and Good Luck

I have a Quiet Partner II that is locked in a 7 blinks of clean cycle that continues even after a power reset. I do not want to spend a bunch of money on this 3 year old dishwasher. I did clean the sensor (#25) but it really wasn't very dirty. Do you folks have any other ideas? Is their a sensor reset combination of keys to recalibrate the sensor? It drains just fine. It just won't let me select any modes because it is stuck in this loop. Thanks in advance

Hello Gary. You will need to test the heater W10518394 and the thermostat WP661566. They should read closed for continuity. The code you got was for water not reaching correct temperature. To clear the code, have the unit in stand by mode. Press heated dry, normal, heated dry, normal, within 6 seconds. The unit will start. Let it complete the cycle, the code is gone. Hope this helps.

Hi Rocco. It seems like you have done approx. 75% mechanically what needs to be done. Did you clean all the spray arm jets to insure they are not clogged on the ends or the bottoms also? They can be cleaned out by removing them carefully, and rinsing them out while using a pick tool to dislodge any stuck particles. There are no longer any phosphates in the dishwasher soap powders anymore. This was used to activate the cleaning agents in your soap. Today's soaps are formulated with different agents to release the cleaning agents that are needed for a proper clean. All across the country now this is happening, so don't feel alone. My wife has changed from cascade powder ( 10yrs use) and went to the cascade tablets with the swirl of green and blue on the top. She has physically showed me the difference and "happiness" she enjoys again. I suggest to also use Glisten part # (the water hardness test kit part #W10549845. Or try dishwasher magic part # TJ104. I hope this helps. Thank- You.

Hello Bill. The only other thing it could be is the control board WPW10084141. From what your describing, with the motor to the point of fire, it sounds like the sensor may be the problem. Hope this helps.
