Steve1147 April 27, 2012 for Model Number GHW9150PWO My washer would run up to rinse, then shut down and show F-13. I ordered and replaced the dispenser actuator assembly. With the top off I watched, it now starts and washes all at position II, then when it hits rinse, the dispenser motor sweeps the pointer back and forth from I to IV pausing very briefly at each number, and after several full passes, shuts down again with error code F-13, what can cause this? Thanks! Steve W.
1 Answer Hello Steve, Here's what I've found on the F-13 fault code: F13 Dispenser circuit error If the dispenser motor is not able to be driven to it’s proper position. Potential Causes • Check mechanical linkage from dispenser motor to the top of the dispenser. • Check Wire Harness connections to the dispenser motor and Central Control Unit (CCU) • Check Dispenser Motor Replace failed component. This self-diagnostic circuit is a man made circuit which can fail also. If, after you double check the dispenser, you cannot find a definate problem, the control WP8182695 is a consideration for replacement. Don't buy a control until you have thouroghly checked the dispenser as it is easy to overlook something. Read More...

Loretta February 20, 2012 for Model Number GHW9150PW4 For a while now, my Duet has been dumping the fabric softener in at the beginning of the wash cycle, w/the detergent. Now, it seems that every other load, the detergent isn't getting dispensed into the machine. It's still sitting in the drawer at the end of the load. Could it be the Actuator? Is there any way to test it? I have already cleaned everything and made sure there is no build up of detergents or softeners.
1 Answer Hello Loretta. Remove the top panel and water the actuator during the cycle and see if it stops at all the stopping points. If so, the water valve is bad. If not, replace the actuator assembly WPW10665207. Hope this helps. Read More...

Joe C June 11, 2011 for Model Number ghw9150pwo Fabric softener does not dispense. Tray (Drawer) completely cleaned. With the top off watching the dispenser actuator assy, the pointer remains at # 2 and water is only dispensed into the detergent well. Is the problem with the motor and cam assy or is it an electronic timing issue?
1 Answer Hello Joe. You will need to test and see if there is power going to the motor on the dispenser. If so, and the motor does not move, you will need to replace the dispenser actuator assembly WPW10665207. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Bennie March 07, 2011 Hi have a kenmore front loading washer and the bleach, softener and soap does not activate at the right time. The bleach and soap goes directly in to the washer when I put them in the dispenser. I believe the dispenser motor does not work It seems to be in the same position all the time. Could the dispenser acturator assembly be the problem. I have taken the top off and watched it and it never moves from position # 1. Also what do the positions incicate such as 1, 2, 3, AND 4. I know they each represent the bleach, soap, softner and what else can you please help? Thanks Bennie Blackward
1 Answer Hello Bennie. You are on the right track. You will need to replace this part to fix your problem. 1 is for your soap, 2 is for bleach, 3 is for softner, and 4 is the flush out. Hope this helps. Read More...
