Hello Steve, Here's what I've found on the F-13 fault code: F13 Dispenser circuit error If the dispenser motor is not able to be driven to it’s proper position. Potential Causes • Check mechanical linkage from dispenser motor to the top of the dispenser. • Check Wire Harness connections to the dispenser motor and Central Control Unit (CCU) • Check Dispenser Motor Replace failed component. This self-diagnostic circuit is a man made circuit which can fail also. If, after you double check the dispenser, you cannot find a definate problem, the control WP8182695 is a consideration for replacement. Don't buy a control until you have thouroghly checked the dispenser as it is easy to overlook something.

Hello Loretta. Remove the top panel and water the actuator during the cycle and see if it stops at all the stopping points. If so, the water valve is bad. If not, replace the actuator assembly WPW10665207. Hope this helps.

Bennie

Hi have a kenmore front loading washer and the bleach, softener and soap does not activate at the right time. The bleach and soap goes directly in to the washer when I put them in the dispenser. I believe the dispenser motor does not work It seems to be in the same position all the time. Could the dispenser acturator assembly be the problem. I have taken the top off and watched it and it never moves from position # 1. Also what do the positions incicate such as 1, 2, 3, AND 4. I know they each represent the bleach, soap, softner and what else can you please help? Thanks Bennie Blackward

1 Answer

Hello Bennie. You are on the right track. You will need to replace this part to fix your problem. 1 is for your soap, 2 is for bleach, 3 is for softner, and 4 is the flush out. Hope this helps.
