This metal blower mounting bracket secures the dryer blower assembly to the cabinet, keeping the blower wheel aligned for proper airflow and quieter operation. It restores stable blower positioning after wear or damage. What it does:
- Holds the blower housing/assembly in place to maintain correct blower wheel alignment
- Reduces wobble, vibration, and rubbing between the blower and housing
- Helps restore proper airflow and drying performance when bracket failure causes misalignment
- Prevents further wear to the blower motor and wheel by stabilizing the assembly
What's included: One blower mounting bracket. Install notes:
- Disconnect power (and gas supply for gas dryers) before servicing; follow lockout/tagout practices.
- Access requires removing the dryer cabinet/front or rear panel.
- Reuse or replace screws and fasteners as specified by the manufacturer; ensure bracket is seated and blower wheel clearance is correct.
- If you find additional damage to the blower wheel or motor, inspect and replace those parts as needed.
