This genuine MTD carburetor kit in a log splitter or a chipper shredder is the component responsible for mixing the air and fuel intake into a proper ratio in order to ignite the spark plugs through its network of valves. This OEM carburetor kit contains the carburetor itself and the primer bu.The carburetor kit might have to be ordered as a complete replacement if the carburetor is not functioning properly and its malfunction cannot be attributed to a smaller component, such as the cylinder head gasket or the carburetor gasket. The log splitter or chipper shredder cannot be used again until the malfunctioning carburetor and its components have been replaced by a new carburetor kit. Remember to always wear gloves when handling, repairing, and operating outdoor equipment. This carburetor kit is compatible with the following brands: MTD and Cub Cadet.
