I had a problem with the drain pump on my Kenmore HE3 and I replaced it using a drain pump I ordered from APP. Opened the package, read the instructions and 10 minutes later my new food was going to be cool and my water would be ice. Required new ice bin (container) which has busted up in pieces from the stress of trying to turn while half melted ice had it jammed, something had to give. Ice auger ripped itself out of the dispenser end breaking the ice container. Got new container, disassembled per the drawing, reassembled. Read more

Used a muiltimeter to test all parts and ohm'ed out all parts. found out condenser fan motor seized up [open winding in motor] replaced that, and found that also caused the compressor overload and relay to fail, from over heating and over cycling, replaced both parts, powered up the refrigerator retested all electrical parts checked amp reading on all parts under load conditions,works good know, hope to get another 15 years out of this refrigator, its a maytag. over 20 years old. Did some research via the internet and figured the problem was likely the moisture control board. Watched a video of the repair of a similar unit in order to locate the moisture control board. I ordered new latch and 2 new screws ( imagine not having the screws). I put latch in place and with a phillips screw driver attached 2 screws. Tada works like new. If the owner would have just done this herself, I wouldnt have a new set of infinity front loaders for under $300. So thrilled that I can get replacement parts for my appliances. Read more
