Research indicated that it may be a moisture sensor failure or a leak. It ended up being a leak from the oil seal on the motor shaft. A small piece of plastic made it's way into the system. The hot water softened it enough that it wrapped around the motor shaft, re-hardened, then tore into the shaft seal. I fixed it by replacing the shaft seal, moisture sensor (corrodes when it gets wet), and replaced the sump seal since I had it disassembled. Read more

Parts arrived faster than promised. I unscrewed both holder screws. The new arm snapped right in the new holder. Then screwed the new arm holder assembly back in to the dishwasher. Uninstalled dishwasher, took it apart and replaced the heating element. Not too difficult, but time consuming because replacing the part requires a lot of disassembly. Read more

• Will not dispense detergent

Removing the door panel was easy -- remove 6 Torx screws, and the panel falls off. Next you need to remove an electrical plug and 2 individual wires from the old dispenser. The plug came right off, but the wires were not easy to access, and they fought me more than I expected. With some pliers and wiggling, they eventually let go and came free. 2 year old dishwasher- "LE" leak sensor - found tinny leak in the shorh drain hose in - upon removing it this hose was found to be BRITTLE - VERY BRITTLE - main drain hose is fine - samsung says that this isnt a problem but have read quite a few complaints - easy fix unce unit is turned upsidedown. Found water in the bottom pan causing the the error code. Took off the side panel and turn the unit on and saw the hose leaking water. The hose material is cheap material so no surprise it leaks. Read more

After talking with the rep from appliance pro, she helped me verify wat I needed, everything came as we discussed. After removing the inner door the vent assembly was difficult removing, it does unplug, do not twist it off, had to replace that piece as well. Had to cut of notch on inner door for the vent assembly to reseat properly. It does twist off, just a bear to put back on. once all assembled turned the machine on and no more leaks. Saved a bundle from calling the appliance repair guy. Read more

I removed the dishwasher, put it on its side, used a needle nose plier to remove the snapped piece of leg and screwed the new one in. Read more

I ordered 2 new springs and 2 new rope pulley assemblies from AppliancePartsPros. I found a youtube video to show how to make the repairs. I am 63 years old and have not done any repairs like this, but repair service for Samsung appliances is cost prohibitive. Since the dishwasher was 9 years old I figured if I screwed it up irretrievably I would just buy a new one. Fortunately I was able to make the repairs and the dishwasher works fine! Read more
