I've ordered new main and tactile board and installed it. Everything worked fine after boards exchange. Ran full cycle, no problems at all. Dis-assembly and installation was really easy, all I needed was Phillips screwdriver and a star tip attachment wrench (I'm always asking myself question why this is done like that? , why can't it be just regular Phillips screw?)

The new one slid right on easily. It didn't come with a screw but the threads are the same as the screws that are used for putting in light switches so all you need to do is either get a short one or trim a light switch or outlet screw down to size.

I searched online for problems with that model. I found the appliance parts pros web site. It was the control board or the control panel. I ordered the control board. In 2 days it arrived and I put it in. That did not fix the problem. I then ordered the control panel. Again in 2 days it arrived and I installed it. That fixed it. I went online and printed out a return authorization for the control panel. I think the very liberal return policy of appliancepartspros is great!

I turned off power and unplugged the touch panel ribbon cable. After restoring power and closing the dishwasher, it started running a drain cycle--this suggested the issue was the touch panel. Used the model number on the side of the wash door to do an internet search for a "control panel". Got an immediate hit of the Appliance Parts Pros site. When I selected two required parts the web site confirmed that the parts I selected were correct tor the model number. We removed six screws, unplugged two sets of wires. With the new control panel we plugged in the two wires, put the cover back on and screwed the six screws back in. Simple, just an extra hand to hold in place is all you need.
