The blower wheel in the dryer separated from the nut Stefan K. • Youngsville , NC • February 25, 2016
It was a relatively easy fix - if you know how to take the dryer apart. If you don't, there are plenty of YouTube videos explaining how. Make sure you find your model.
Since the wheel had separated from the nut, it wasn't quite as easy and holding the shaft and loosening the wheel. I had to remove (destroy) the wheel first. Then I was left with the nut on the shaft. The nut was seated on the shaft a lot tighter than I expected and took some force to get off. Once it was off, putting the new...

Dryer would start then quit after about 5 seconds. No error codes-timer running nasal burnt smell. Larry T. • Morristown , TN • December 10, 2017
I replaced the dryer motor. I followed the repair video on the Appliance Parts Pro site, with a few modifications to the procedure. I loosened the control panel and flipped it forward to improve access to the wiring connectors. I also loosened the front panel and tipped it forward before disconnecting the door switch as there wasn't enough space to disconnect the switch otherwise. Removal of the blower assembly required the use of penetrating lubricant as the assembly was stuck on the motor...

Part Number: WE03X10008
This drum support roller assembly is a genuine General Electric part, sold individually. It can be used as a replacement part for a dryer. This drum support roller assembly bolsters the placement of the drum in the cabinet as it rotates through a standard laundry cycle.A drum support roller assembly might have to be ordered as a complete replacement for the drum support rollers of a dryer. If this occurs, perform a visual inspection of the drum support rollers. If there appear to be signs of visible damage including punctures, erosion, or warping to the part as a result of an accident or due to standard wear from long-term usage, the component should be removed and replaced by this genuine OEM replacement part. This is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer. It is sold individually. This drum support roller assembly is compatible with General Electric brand dryers.

Dryer was making a loud noise in use Brian L. • Sacramento , CA • November 21, 2019
I disassembled my dryer and found that the fan(blower wheel) was "free-spinning" on the motor shaft. A common problem with this model Maytag dryer. I also discovered that the right drum roller (drum support roller) was in the process of failing. Note: the fan drive was frozen on the motor shaft, this was the threaded type of motor and fan assembly. I was able to remove the fan drive by using vice-grip pliers, hammer and a combination wrench to hold motor from turning. Also Note: the fan...

Genuine Speedqueen part
By: Speedqueen
Part Number: D510139P
Considered a crucial part of the dryer, the blower fan assembly is the part that pulls in air from outside and then circulates that air in the drum to ensure clothing gets dry. After the air is moved around the drum, it is then moved through the exhaust vent. This part is located on the motor shaft and is made of durable plastic. Regular use can lead to wear and tear or damage to this component. If this occurs, the air in the dryer may not dry the clothing. In this case, the blower fan assembly will need to be replaced. If the blower fan assembly needs to be replaced, first the dryer should be unplugged from power. Take the cabinet top off and remove the front panel on the appliance. Take out the drum, remove the motor clamp, and loosen the blower fan so it can be removed. Take it out and replace it with the new blower fan assembly. The blower fan assembly is designed to be used with dryers manufactured by Amana and Speed Queen. It is sold as an individual part. This is an authentic OEM replacement part that is sourced directly from the manufacturer.

Noisy bumping sound. Mary S. • Porter , TX • February 15, 2019
Blower wheel and clamp replacement. Initially, we replaced both the belt and drum roller wheels but that did not stop the noise. By reviewing videos on YouTube and AppliancePartsPros, we suspected that the blower wheel could be problematic, even though with front panel of dryer off, we did not see any visual clues to support that theory. Purchased the replacement clamp as well, just for good measure (and it was inexpensive). Note: we did call AppliancePartsPros with our model AND serial numbers...

The best part of the experience was the parts order. I ordered the parts around 3:00 pm one day, standard shipping, and they were on my doorstep around 1:00 pm the next day. I'm still wondering...

Genuine Bosch part
By: Bosch
Part Number: 00422200
The Wheel is an OEM component specifically designed for select Bosch vented dryers requiring stable rotational support. As a load-bearing fixture, it maneuverably transports tumbling drum assemblies.
Causes usually arise from years of use wearing down bearings and slowing revolutions. Impacts may also deform precisely fitted wheels biasing balanced movements.
Symptoms signaling the need for a new wheel incorporate:
- Binding or inability to smoothly transition drum assemblies
- Grooves eroding intended contact patches for stable mobilization
- Loosened fasteners enabling unintended displacements risking stability
This OEM Bosch replacement wheel is also compatible with Thermador, Gaggenau and select Kenmore dryers relying on reliably rotating supporting structures. Correct installation restores intended operational smoothness.
