After the run around, I found AppliancePartsPros website and placed my order with them. I received the parts I needed within the time they promised. I recently changed our above the range microwave to vent outside but when there are strong winds against the outlet cool air came in this is an extra block against air intrusion James D. • Downingtown , PA • October 31, 2015
This damper was added to the outside vent duct line as an additional block against outside air intrusion. Under spousal orders I had just changed the microwave vent to the outside (the proper way to go, but much more difficult to accomplish) but then there was some "flowback" when the wind was pressing against the back of the house (westward facing), and I was ordered to reduce this flow before the winter arrived in full force. There is this same damper on the microwave unit itself, but I...

The Latch Hook is an OEM replacement part for Frigidaire microwaves. It is an internal component that helps securely latch and lock the microwave door during operation. Symptoms of a bad latch hook include:
- The microwave door not closing or latching securely
- Difficulty closing or popping open the door during a cycle

Microwave blew line fuse Gerald G. • St. Louis , MO • August 05, 2019
It took a long time to determine the problem but eventually I discovered that the plastic bracket (latch hook) that held the three door-switches showed appreciable wear from repeated door openings and closings. This wear stopped the door from sealing properly and the door switch safety mechanism blew the line fuse. I replaced the worn bracket (AP6230612) as well as the plastic latch mechanism (AP4553585) on the door that engages this bracket (and of course the fuse too) and the microwave now...

Part Number: WB06X10128
The Lower Lever Switch is an OEM replacement part for GE microwaves. This component activates the door interlock switch when the microwave door is closed. It ensures that the microwave only operates when the door is securely closed, preventing any operational hazards.
Symptoms of a bad Lower Lever Switch include:
- The microwave not starting, indicating the door isn't recognized as closed
- The appliance operating with the door open, a clear safety hazard
- Unusual sounds or issues when attempting to start the microwave
- The need to apply extra pressure to keep the door closed
Common causes for a malfunctioning Lower Lever Switch can be attributed to mechanical wear from frequent use, damage incurred during cleaning or use, or internal issues affecting the switch’s activation mechanism.
This GE replacement part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.

The microwave went completely dead. Vince M. • Griffith , IN • May 26, 2020
I ordered the door switches, switch monitor and the lever switch. i replaced all of the parts and the oven started to function only to have it fail again after 2-3 operations. I eventually determined that the main fuse holder was not completely securing the fuse. i believe the combination of new switches and realigning the fuse clip solved the problem.

Microwave turntable would not spin Charles B. • Uniontown , PA • November 23, 2014
Removed 8 screws from bottom panel on microwave. Pulled two prong plug off old motor. Read supplied voltage off motor decal and tested for it. Deemed motor to be bad and changed it. Works great. After tearing old motor apart it seems a liquid got in there from inside microwave. No seal on motor. Bad design flaw in my opinion.

Microwave turntable motor overheated and melted tray coupler Terry H. • Columbia , MO • May 31, 2018
Obtained the replacement motor and tray coupler from Appliance Parts Pro. Video of the typical replacement was very helpful to show what to expect and how to replace the motor and coupler. The removal of the bottom plate was held in place by several phillips screws. The motor was attached with two torx screws. The electric connection clips to the motor required needle nose pliers to pull them off. The tray coupler was simple to install after the motor was secured and bottom plate was replaced..

Ge model jes1651sj02 microwave turntable would not rotate Frances C. • Burdett , NY • January 14, 2017
When our turntable stopped rotating, I would hear a clicking sound each time I used our microwave, like something was not properly engaging in order to turn the glass tray. Even though our microwave was 10 years old, everything else worked fine. I did a little research on the internet and found a couple YouTube videos that showed replacing the small motor in the bottom of GE microwaves. I am not a mechanical person, but it looked fairly easy, so I decided to try it. The...

Turntable did not turn on our ge under the cabinet microwave Cory S. • Rochester , MN • July 03, 2016
Unplug your microwave. Took the screws off of the bottom of the unit with it still on the cabinet. The whole bottom panel swung down to expose the turntable motor. I took the power cable loose (just pull it off). It was one screw to take the motor out. Word to the wise: DON'T try to take the plastic coupler off before the motor. Their is a tab that holds it in while the motor is in place. If you pry it up you will break it, trust me. ;) Turn the motor out of its housing and it come right out....

My microwave turntable stopped turning Jeremy N. • Deer Park , TX • January 15, 2017
I ordered the replacement motor. I unplugged the microwave. Then I simply removed the turntable spindle by lifting it up off the motor from inside the microwave. Next, I removed the 7 screws holing the bottom of the microwave in place. I lowered the bottom of the microwave, giving me access to the motor. I unplugged the two wires connected to the motor, removed the 2 screws holding the motor in place, then put the new motor in place and reversed the steps to complete the job.

Our lg lmv2031bd otr microwave started making scraping and clunking noises but continued to work fine otherwise Russell S. • Moultonboro , NH • January 06, 2025
Looked online and found that someone had experienced the same issue and had replaced the cooling fan assembly for the magnetron. I ordered the parts for the assembly (motor, fan, and support), and replaced them and this fixed the problem. It took about 10 minutes to replace the parts, but lowering the unit and disassembly took around 45 minutes. The most difficult part was getting the outer sheet metal cover back on after the repair, as it has a bunch of clips on each front edge that need to...
