Grey for Right Hand Door
The Refrigerator Door Gasket is an OEM replacement part for Whirlpool refrigerators. It creates an seal between the refrigerator doors and the body, helping to maintain proper temperatures inside. The gasket is a soft, pliable material designed to tightlen without allowing air or warm moisture to infiltrate the refrigerator. Measures approximately 39 by 16 inches
Causes of a bad door gasket include cracking, splitting, or compression from repeated opening and closing of the door over time. Deterioration leads to diminished sealing and temperature control performance.
Symptoms of a bad door gasket are:
- Difficulty keeping items cool or frozen
- Frost or moisture buildup between the door and refrigerator body
- Higher energy costs from the refrigerator working overtime
- Food odors transferring between compartments
This OEM Whirlpool gasket is also compatible with Maytag, Jenn-Air, Amana, Norge, Gibson, Kelvinator, and some Kenmore models.

Refrigerator door gaskets were cracked and moldy Allison O. • Sussex , NJ • June 29, 2019
I bought new gaskets, which were expensive! At least the repair was easy. Pulled out the old ones, pressed in the new ones. Had to redo them because I didn't notice the little flaps that need to be covering the space in the middle, between the doors. So, pulled them off, and turned them around, and pressed them on again. Maybe 10 minutes?

The Fresh Food Door Gasket is an OEM replacement part for Frigidaire refrigerators. It creates a seal around the refrigerator door to maintain a consistent temperature by keeping cold air in and warm air out. This helps ensure proper refrigerator conditions and prevents energy loss.
Over time, gaskets can degrade due to wear, exposure to extreme temperatures, or cleaning with harsh chemicals. A damaged or worn gasket may fail to seal properly, affecting the freezer's efficiency and potentially leading to increased energy consumption.
Symptoms of a bad gasket include:
- Frost or ice buildup inside the refrigerator
- Difficulty keeping the refrigerator door fully closed
- Warm air entering the refrigerator, causing temperature fluctuations
- Increased energy bills due to inefficient operation
This OEM replacement is also compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator, and Kenmore models.
NOTE: GASKET NOW GRAY, NOT WHITE

Noticed Rolls on the top shelf no longer frozen, though the meat around it still was. Note: This is a good test, keep something that thaws quickly and is not expensive on top shelf, to act as a barometer for your freezer health!

The Door Gasket is an OEM part for Frigidaire refrigerators. It ensures a tight seal around the door, preventing cold air from escaping and maintaining the set temperature inside the appliance. Over time, the gasket can wear out, become brittle, or lose its elasticity, leading to gaps between the gasket and the appliance frame. The gasket measures approximately 31" x 60"
Causes of a bad door gasket can vary from normal wear and tear to accidental damage.
Symptoms of a bad Gasket include:
- Noticeable gaps or tears in the gasket
- Difficulty in maintaining the set temperature
- Condensation or frost buildup around the door
This OEM Frigidaire part can also be used on Electrolux, Frigidaire, Gibson, Kelvinator, Westinghouse, and Sears/Kenmore.

The Compressor Start Relay is an OEM part for Whirlpool refrigerators. This component helps to kickstart the compressor, facilitating the refrigeration cycle that cools the interior of the fridge.
Such issues can stem from electrical failures within the relay, physical damage, or wear and tear from regular use. When the relay does not function correctly, it can lead to inconsistent cooling and, in severe cases, cause the compressor to overheat and fail prematurely.
Symptoms of a failing Compressor Start Relay include:
- The refrigerator not cooling properly or not cooling at all
- A noticeable clicking sound emanating from the back of the refrigerator, indicating the relay is trying to start the compressor but failing
- The refrigerator starts and stops frequently, unable to maintain a constant temperature
This OEM Whirlpool part can also be used on Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore/Sears brand appliances.
This part fixes the following symptoms
-
Clicking sound
-
Won't start
-

Due to bad door seal ice built up in bottom of freezer water then leaking out Christopher K. • Alexandria , VA • July 19, 2016
Door gasket was easy to remove and reinstall. Original gasket was penetrated while cleaning food stuff from folds in the seal below the frig doors. (Gasket is very fragile so don't try to expand the folds while cleaning. I used my finger and a paper towel but in hindsight should have used a Q-Tip. Also, when installing the new gasket you have to be sure the seam folds over the edge of the door and doesn't get caught underneath.

My Frigidaire frost free commercial freezer was screeching louder than the wheels on my radio flyer red wagon when it was overloaded with 5 cent return for deposit coca cola bottles back in the 1960's Daniel G. • El Paso , TX • January 24, 2021
In short - I replaced the evaporator fan motor and the evaporator fan blade.
The Appliance Parts Pros website was extremely helpful to me. Here's how.
1. The site helped me identify that even though my Freezer says it's a Frigidaire, it's actually an Electrolux.
2. The site identified the potential screech causing parts. (I didn't take a chance, I bought all three) It was a worthwhile investment. My freezer is 20 years old so it deserved some help.
