This is a thermal fuse rated at 320 degrees Fahrenheit that acts as a safety device in the dryer's heating circuit. It is designed to blow and cut power to the heater or the entire dryer if the internal temperature exceeds safe limits, preventing a fire hazard. Replace this fuse if your dryer runs but produces no heat, or if the dryer won't start at all - thermal fuses are not resettable and must be replaced once they have tripped.

I researched the issue on You tube and found out it could be either the "belt broke switch" or the Moisture sensor. A friend who was an appliance mechanic advised "since you have to take it all apart anyways, its best to replace the belt, spring, and Idler wheel" I bought the 5 item for $52. I opened the washer and replaced the pump. To open the washer: 1. Remove the 2 screws that are different from the others in the top back corners of the machine. That will let you remove the top. 2. From watching the video I got the general idea, disassemble 50% of the dryer. Only had 2 differences in my dryer from the one used in the video, so the video was helpful.
