I have tried to remove the burner assemblies by removing the torx screws but they were badly rusted, and unfortunately they all were broken during removal. I just discarded the ruined orifices and assembled the new orifices and burner assembly. Read more

I did a search online for inner door glass replacement pieces and came across a youtube video made by appliance parts pros. After watching the video, I was certain that this was a repair I could do myself. I ordered the glass and it arrived the next afternoon. That evening, I brought the video up on my computer, gathered a screwdriver, some gloves and a towel to lay the door on when I put it on the table. Removed old handle and install new. Found that I should have order two screws. The drawing was not clear on how many screws held the handle on. The screw goes on very hard, so you have to use lots of force to turn it into place. ( must be to prevent it from loosening after installing. Read more

I knew for sure that the hinge with the large spring was damaged, but elected to replace both hinges and receivers. Replacing the parts was fairly easy and would have taken me less then an hour. This model has thin metal covers over the hinge assemblies. I found that squeezing in the sides of the covers help to hold them in place on the hinge while reassembling the door. My only difficulty was putting the door back on the oven. It took a little maneuvering but I managed to get it. Now the door... Read more

Replaced the hinge receiver with a new one. The old one was bent slightly inside where it could not be seen. I think someone pushed the door down to far or fell on it. 2 screws to remove it, take out storage drawer and reach up little ways to remove and replace the receiver. Replace the 2 screws. The receiver comes with 2 screws but I ordered an extra ( never used it ). The sides of the receiver were spread just a tiny bit but were enough to cause a problem. Read more
