Repairs loud roaring or grinding noises during spin cycle. Replace when bearings rust or seals leak water. Confirm fit with your washer model number.
After about 6 months of use with our Whirlpool Cabrio washing machine it started to sound extremely loud in the spin cycle, we should have called Whirlpool at this point to have it looked at under warranty. Fast forward 5 years later our loud washing machine ended up leaking out the bottom, we had a local service company come out to take a look at doing the repair and they quoted $800 to replace the outer tub assembly. I was not going to pay $800 and figured that most likely we would purchase a... Read more
Fixes loud roaring noise during spin cycle or basket wobbling. Connects basket to drive shaft for smooth spinning. Moderate DIY repair with video.
After ignoring for a couple of years that the bearings were bad on our Whirlpool Cabrio washer and just closing the door to the laundry room, it started slinging grease underneath during the spin cycle. Knowing that the cost to call out a repairman would be close to the cost of a new washer, I decided that it would be a nice Saturday project after reviewing AppliancePartsPros’ repair video. The bearing & tub seal kit and bearing installation tool arrived in two days. I’ve done a lot of... Read more
Four-rod suspension kit that supports the washer tub assembly. Replace when rods are worn, stretched, or causing excessive vibration during spin cycles.
I called a repair guy who came out to specifically replace the suspension rods because I read that if you push down on the tub and it bounces around, then the rods have worn out. After running the diagnostics, the repair guy tried to tell me it was because the lid was not locking correctly! After expressing concern that this makes no sense, he continued taking things apart and noticed the agitator rollers were all broken and told me this is probably causing the tub to be unbalanced. I... Read more
Fix an agitator that won't turn or leaks fabric softener with this inner cap. Simple 5-minute repair—remove the outer cap and replace. Video guide included.
I had replaced the Agitator cams a couple of times already due to my brother-in-law overloading the machine which stripped the teeth off of the cams. I also noticed the agitator seemed to 'wobble' and made 'knocking' noises quite a bit. I reviewed the video on the Appliance Parts Pros web site, disassembled the agitator and cleaned everything up, which helped a little, but not enough. Figuring the agitator itself was worn out also, I looked up and ordered all the parts for the upper agitator on... Read more

Seals the agitator cap to prevent water leaks into the agitator assembly. Replace if you notice leaking during wash cycles. Verify fit with your model.
I had previously replaced the pump about 1 year ago. That was not the problem. Still leaked the same way - intermittently, but always in the center of the washer onto the floor. None of the hoses were leaking - no evidence of corrosion or water mineral residue at any of the hose fittings. So, it must have been something else. I studied the parts diagram for the washer tub assembly and concluded the source of the leak almost had to be the outer tub's Centerpost Gasket. It was really the... Read more
Filters debris from water entering your washer and seals the hose connection. Replace if water fills slowly or screens are clogged. Confirm fit by model.
As a Mechanic, I did the common sense approach: INITIAL OBSERVATIONS & CHECKS: - Unplug Machine & check inlet water hose connections for leaks and signs of hose failure; - Remove back panel & inspect for water presence at all hose connections, pump, bottom of basket (bottom center of basket where the main motor, shaft bearing, and tub seal is located), dispensers, bottom of wash basket, water injector area, look everywhere where there is a hose connection and where water flows... - Inspect... Fix F51 error code or washer not spinning with this rotor position sensor. Moderate DIY repair with video guide. Mounts to bottom of washer under rotor.
Disconnected the water lines and unplugged the washer. Tilted the machine on its front side 3/4 of the way as machine still retains some water even after drain. From bottom of the machine I used an allen wrench to remove screw in center of shroud and remove plastic shroud containing the magnets along its sides thar drives the motor. Then using a 3/8 socket i removed the 4 bolts holding the retaining plate holding the magneto ring. I used a small plastic garbage can side to rest the... Read more
Replacement suspension spring kit for washer tubs. Includes multiple springs that support and stabilize the drum. Needed when springs are broken, stretched, or worn.
I read through the issues related to my problems. I purchased both parts so if one was fixed then the other still needed to be fixed I would have the part. I watched both videos for replacing the parts which made things so much easier. I will say prying in the front clips was the biggest issue out of the whole repair. I repaired the suspension issue by replacing the 4 rods. The very last rod that I replaced was indeed bent. I closed the top and ran one load and then the lid lock issues... Read more

First off I have to say that Appliance Parts Pro's saved me from hiring a repair person, and quite possibly just getting rid of my washing machine. Their video's helped out SOOOOOOOO much and the advice one of their agents gave me over their online chat helped me trouble shoot something when I got stuck. On top of this they shipped my parts fast enough that less than 12 hrs later they arrived, which allowed me to get my machine up and running way faster than the other options I had available....
