Without knowing exactly what broke I ordered 2 springs and 2 door spring links. I knew the door springs were weak and a parts man told me many years ago to always replace BOTH springs or the one you didn't replace will soon break. • Will not drain

I checked the drain hose for blocking at the garbage disposal and then at the connection point to the dishwasher. The hose was clear and nothing was obviously obstructing where the drain hose connects to the dishwasher. Appeared to be two problems: the latch was worn and one of the pins that slid in a guide on the actuator located in the inner panel had broke off. Detergent lid spring and pin appeared to be OK but decided to replace since I was aready working on it. I ordered all the inner panel mechanism from the control arm to the latch actuator on the inner panel. The repair was successful as the detergent dispenser now opens during its cycle. Read more

I nearly shelled out for a new Kitchenaid when I remembered APP and entered my model # just for fun. Ordered Bake Element, Y04100019 (Whirlpool AP4283614) to replace a broken bake element on my 30-year old Jenn-Air Model S125 Downdraft Slide-in electric range. Ordered dishwasher rack tine tips and bottle of vinyl touch up paint. I applied the paint to each tine and then placed the tips on the tines. I waited a few hours before using my dishwasher to allow the paint to dry and allow the tips to stick to the tines. Read more

I took a multimeter and found out that the old fuse was open. I ordered this new one and popped it in. Pretty easy fix and it's still going strong. Read more
