I used the internet and checked a dry fuse, and it tested ok. Checked the start switch, ok. So it had to be the motor. Sharon at the company agreed. Found on u-tube a repairman cut a hole in the side to gain easy access. This dryer is not easy to work on, but this helped, and will make further repairs much easier. Using the internet, and... If your gas burners won't light or igniters aren't sparking, the spark module likely needs replacement. DIY-friendly repair, typically 10-15 minutes.
I tried swapping the cables around by putting the cables from the burners that would light onto the ones that didn't light. When I did that the problem would move. So this is how i determined that the issue was with this module and not the burners or cables. Once this new module arrived it was simple to disconnect the old one and put the cables back on the new one. I tested it (holding by breath!) and then all of the burners started. HOORAY! Read more
Oven won't light even with glowing igniter? Safety valve controls gas flow to burner. Moderately easy repair with gas line disconnect required.
My tenant thought that the oven safety valve was bad, but after some research, I found that the transfer of heat from the igniter had to be sufficient enough to cause the valve to open.Your agent confirmed this and reassured me that even if the igniter was glowing, there was a 99% chance that it wasn't getting hot enough. I ordered the igniter, and also the safety valve just in case, as we were going to be fixing this on Christmas eve, so the oven could be used for Christmas dinner. Your agent... Read more

This is an electronic control board designed for use in a combination washer/dryer or laundry center unit. It manages the user interface and cycle selections, communicating your inputs to the main control system. Replace this board if the display is blank or unresponsive, buttons fail to register, or the unit does not start or respond to cycle selections.
After many calls to Fridadare and alternate service company didn't show up I hired a appliance repair person to look at the unit. Being a new design he didn't see any thing that was mechanically wrong. He left with the laundry center still down. I was so fed up I was going to throw it in the trash. Found AppliancePartsPros and talked with customer service rep and decided it would be one of three control boards. I ordered all three and went back to cabin and checked each out. Last board was the... Read more

My dryer door would not stay shut because the door strike was stuck in the door catch. I was afraid that when I pulled the strike out, it would damage the catch, so I ordered the door strike and door catch. I got the damaged door strike out with needle nosed pliers in about 15 seconds.
