We had to order new racks by calling appliance parts pros. I gave them the model and serial number to order replacement racks with new hardware included. The racks came in 5 business days and I installed the new racks which were OEM. Fit perfect and the dishwasher runs like new. It was that easy. Read more
Dryer bearing slides enable smooth drum rotation. Replace when hearing squeaking or rumbling sounds during cycles. Confirm fit with your model number.
A thumping sound (like sneakers in the dryer) started happening. We stopped using it so that it wouldn't get worse and potentially break more parts. Online research suggested rear drive shaft would be the problem. But also suggested while we have the dryer apart, would be smart to replace the belt and the slides/glides (green and white plastic tabs in front, attached to the door). We ordered all the parts from AppliancePartsPros.com and they arrived FAST. It helps to have two people for this... Read more
Dishwasher won't start or run? A faulty door latch prevents cycles from beginning. This latch assembly secures the door and activates switches. 5-10 min fix.
I first did quite a bit of interaction with the AI chat and doing Google searches, as well as entering the diagnostic mode for the dishwasher. (NOTE: Retrieve the technical sheet stored underneath your dishwasher behind the front toe kick panel to learn all about diagnostics!) From this research, I determined three possible issues: (1) the door latch assembly might be malfunctioning, (2) the soap dish actuator might be malfunctioning, and/or (3) the main control board was faulty. The door... Read more
Fix H2O error codes and water fill issues with this dishwasher pressure sensor. Monitors water level for proper fill cycles. DIY repair in about 1 hour.
First diagnosed the problem by viewing several Youtube videos. Then ordered the part from AppliancePartsPros. After the part arrived I again referenced the best video - several times - and finally made the repair swapping out bad mother board with the new one from AppliancePartsPros. Saved me hundreds. Dishwasher works great, wife happy! All is good. Read more
Replaces broken or worn lower rack carriers and rollers. Installs on both sides of the dishwasher lower rack to restore smooth gliding along tracks.

This is the flexible rubber or vinyl gasket that lines the opening of your dishwasher tub, creating a watertight seal when the door is closed during a wash cycle. It prevents water from leaking out around the door during operation. Replace it when you notice water pooling on the floor in front of your dishwasher, or when the gasket is visibly torn, stiff, or pulled away from the tub.
Upon taking the door apart it looked like the leak was coming from the vent so I replaced the vent cap, vent seal and the transition piece. I did not have to change the seals. It took me a while to figure out how to get the door apart, but once I did, it was fairly straightforward. Read more

Replacement silverware basket for dishwashers. Holds utensils and flatware securely during wash cycles. Needed when original basket is cracked or broken.
Our GE was installed about 8 years ago and was AWESOME for much of its early life. However, progressively its cleaning ability diminished. By replacing all the spray arms (clogged with debris), filters, drain hose, and sump...this dishwasher cleans like it did when it was new! Cost was around $100 (also replaced a wheel and the silverware basket) and labor was relatively simple. And to think...my mother-in-law said, "Wouldn't it just be easier to buy a new one?!?". Dishwasher not filling with water or filling too slowly? The water inlet valve controls water flow into the tub. DIY-friendly repair with video guide.
I figured it was the valve, but searching on the Appliance Parts site, somebody said they fixed it by replacing the switch flood assembly. So I order both parts. The Switch Flood Assembly was easiest to replace, so I decided to try that first. When I pulled out the old assembly, I noticed it did not 'rattle', as the new one did. So, there is apparently a float ball that had gotten stuck. I put the new one in and poof.. it worked. The only update to the instructions is a reminder that the... Read more
Dishwasher detergent dispenser won't open or latch? This module controls soap release during wash cycles. Moderate DIY repair—30 minutes, door removal.
Dishwasher not filling with water or showing H2O error code? This water inlet valve controls flow into your dishwasher. Easy DIY replacement fix.
Repair was easy. The new part didn’t fix the problem. The feed shutoff valve worked (produced water) however, inside it’s rubber pieces broke off and clogged the feed line. Need a new valve but the new parts are typical wearables so I kept them in. The two parts I purchased from Appliance were at my door within 24 hours. Great service!! Read more

Since the $3 elbow isn't sold individually, I had to buy a $125 pump assembly and change the whole thing. My AI made a huge deal about not using a random elbow fitting from the hardware store, so I went for the whole assembly. The pump assembly itself was a perfect fit and easy install. Read more
