Ice won't dispense or comes out slowly? A worn or stripped ice auger is often the culprit. This repair restores smooth dispensing in 30-45 minutes.

The new auger is stainless steel (I believe and slightly longer) and should not corrode like old white one. If changing auger, make sure you put the assembly back together correctly (take a few pics of the old one and lay it out as taken apart). As always, parts arrived quickly. Read more

This replacement cabinet screw secures panels, brackets, and ducts in Whirlpool-built appliances so components stay aligned and secure. Replacing missing or stripped hardware helps reduce vibration, rattling, and gaps that can affect performance.

This didn't allow the motor coupler to float on the shaft. There is a spring inside the shaft that pushes up on the motor coupler keeping it engaged in the ice bin coupler above. This coupler in turn rotates the auger in the bin to dispense the ice. I removed the motor coupler & shaft, tapped the coupler loose and filed off the rust. This allowed... Read more
