The oven was so loud, it was hard to talk to someone in the kitchen. We replaced the motor and the fan blade. 1. Turn off power to the oven. 2. Remove the oven doors 3. This is a genuine OEM replacement nut that is used on convection oven fans. This nut holds the fan onto the spindle. If the nut becomes lost during repairs to the fan, it will need to be replaced before the fan will work. This nut locks the fan to the spindle to turn and move the air around inside the oven. I took the cover off and the fan had separated from the bushing. Ordered a new fan and nut and it took all of 5 minutes to replace. Move stove to unplug, remove rear center panel, indentify the two spade connectors that feed the heating element and remove (unplug) them. Remove two screws that hold the element to the inside rear wall of the stove and remove element. Install new element, plug in the previously removed spade connectors, re-install rear center panel, plug range (power) in, move stove back into place and enjoy. Read more
