Microwave turntable not turning? The turntable motor rotates the glass tray for even heating. Simple DIY repair with basic tools in under an hour.
Unplug your microwave. Took the screws off of the bottom of the unit with it still on the cabinet. The whole bottom panel swung down to expose the turntable motor. I took the power cable loose (just pull it off). It was one screw to take the motor out. Word to the wise: DON'T try to take the plastic coupler off before the motor.
