I have a Whirlpool Side-by-side Model ED22PWXBW01. A year ago, the ice cubes started freezing together in the rear of the ice bin for no apparent reason. Although the problem started off small, it gradually grew much worse, and finally I could see water dripping out of the ice mold and into the bin during the fill cycle. Water dispenser came down to a trickle and made a lot of noise, I changed the filter but it didnt help and thus the water tank/head assembly needed to be replaced. Replacing the water Tank/head assembly was an easy task, the hardest part is removing the covers and taking care of not breaking the insulation of the water inlet hose. Almost ordered solenoid valve but realize ice maker was working ok and water dispenser worked good for the first 1-2 seconds. I went to appliancepartspros.com and described the symptoms which led to replacing the capacitor. The part arrived the next day!!! Unfortunately the clicking and warmness remained. I went to the online chat and Mandie recommended the relay which was next in the chain before the dreaded compressor. Once again the part arrived the next morning! I pulled the old gasket off the door then I used rubbing alcohol to clean the mold along the back of the door and in the insert for the gasket seals . The new gasket fit extremely well and was very easy to put in. I waited 24 hours for the gasket to come back to its normal shape. After putting the gasket in I waited another 24 hours to make sure that I was getting no Icing inside the freezer area. There was no icing so the job is completed. Read more

The right door on our Jenn Air French Door Refrigerator would pop open & not fully close when the left door was closed first. I had my grandson, as he is more agile, replace the Drip Pan. The only real issue was the removing and reinstalling the Fan module. Strongly suggest to view the provided Video a couple of time to save frustration. As not in video, you do not need to remove the water line as the whole back panel will just fold up and out of the way. A 1/4" nut driver is the only tool you need.
