1. To fix the leaks from around the door, I replaced the upper and lower door seals. These were purchased in a separate transcation, so they are not the parts shown here. The upper door seal worked as intended, but the lower seal would not stay in place on the lower edge of the door during a wash. I nearly shelled out for a new Kitchenaid when I remembered APP and entered my model # just for fun. The interactive diagrams and install videos showed where all the parts "should" be, mine were badly disintegrated, so I replaced the damaged ones and swapped out all of the other easily accessible seals and bearings (also gave it a good and very disturbing cleaning). I looked inside and saw the teeth were worn off the "dogs" so I purchased the Cam Agitator repair kit and a new bolt. Getting the old bolt out was the hardest part since it was worn and rusted. I ended up having to buy a set of socket extensions and a set of stripped bolt sockets so $45 in tools and it took me an hour to get the old bolt out but putting everything back together was a breeze. Used the vinyl touch up paint on the tops of posts and slid vinyl tips over 130 posts. The paint acts as an adhesive to keep the tips secure. Read more

I figured out that it was probably a plugged pump hose, since the pump would run, it somtimes it drained and sometimes it didn't. Your video helped with how to take the dishwasher out and replace the hose. I replaced the hose and everything is now working fine. It turned out to be a broken check valve in the old hose that caused the problem. It took 90 mins to do the repair. Read more
