With the basket out of the dishwasher, the plastic parts basically snap on and off... popped the broken parts off and the new parts on. The 2 wheel and mount assemblies were a little more complicated. The video on the website advises to disconnect the supply line and drain line... I didn't have to do this. • Door latch failure

Had to remove the screws that hold the dish washer to the counter top by knocking them out of the counter top. After seeing how the door handle worked I will not have to do again as all you have to do to open is stick a long screw driver up inside and push the chip and it opens. Ordered handle installed it now everything works fine. $29.00 for little plastic handle seems quiet rediculous but Kitchenaid and parts direct where $39.00 so I guess I got a bargain. I looked inside and saw the teeth were worn off the "dogs" so I purchased the Cam Agitator repair kit and a new bolt. Getting the old bolt out was the hardest part since it was worn and rusted. I ended up having to buy a set of socket extensions and a set of stripped bolt sockets so $45 in tools and it took me an hour to get the old bolt out but putting everything back together was a breeze. Used the vinyl touch up paint on the tops of posts and slid vinyl tips over 130 posts. The paint acts as an adhesive to keep the tips secure. Read more

I figured out that it was probably a plugged pump hose, since the pump would run, it somtimes it drained and sometimes it didn't. Your video helped with how to take the dishwasher out and replace the hose. I replaced the hose and everything is now working fine. It turned out to be a broken check valve in the old hose that caused the problem. It took 90 mins to do the repair. Read more

Kick plate was easy; screw holes in the wrong place, but used double-sided tape instead and worked great. Didn't need the extra screws ordered; it came with them. The roller spindles should be sent with a packet of grease. When replaced, the door was even louder than previous. Used candle wax on the spindles and it's quiet as can be now. Read more
