I replaced the seal which turned out to be a little tougher job than it was supposed to. Small screws and very limited space to get into. Use a magic nut driver or something to hold the screw. Read more

Ordered new wheel assembly, which came in about a day and a half. The broken assembly was on the left front so I only had to slide the dishwasher out just enough to expose the two mounting screws on the outside of machine.When you remove the old assm there are two rubber washers on the back side. If you didn't order new ones,remember to remove them from broken assembly and install them onto the new piece.Overall this is an easy fix and took about ten minutes including pulling the machine away... Removed bottom cover, located leak at float switch, removed and replaced float switch kit. The toughest part of the repair was removing the Float & Retainer Assembly (in the interior of the machine tank) which broke when I pushed it back and pulled it straight up as suggested in the service manual. Chopper screen was completely blocked. Chopper blades separated from the shaft. Retainer ring came off of the shaft but was able to re install the chopper assembly. Worked fine after cleaning the screen and reassembly the lower spray arm. Lower spray arm hub tab broke when removing so purchased a new one with a new bearing. Dishwasher washer would not drain after hearing glass-like particles during the drain cycle despite trying to clean the cylinder filter. Originally suspected the drain motor was damaged. We initially noticed the dishwasher running loud and failing to completely clean dishes.
