This is a small mesh filter screen that fits inside the water inlet valve to catch sediment and debris from your household water supply before it enters the washer. This is a rubber gasket seal that fits between the outer tub halves or around the tub ring of a washing machine, creating a watertight seal to prevent leaks during the wash and spin cycles.
