Followed the video- opened the front of the dryer and removed the drum. It was evident that one of the wheels had worn and wasn't turning freely like the other one. The video showed how to remove the roller. Very simple process and now the dryer works just fine. Read more

Located model number and went to Appliance Parts Pros.com to check the repair instructions on belt and motor. Used the suggestions to diagnose problem as a broken belt. I also ordered two top locks to replace the originals that were very brittle plastic that broke when I opened the dryer. Ordered the parts on Presidents Day, and received the parts the next day. Replaced the heater tube. Had to open the back up, removed the heating element and then replaced the heater tube. Then I put it all together again and everything is fine now. Read more

This was actually one of the easiest fixes I’ve done. All that was required was to remove 3 screws to remove the broken part. I used a pair of pliers to remove the moisture sensors from the broken part to the new one. Read more

I had to remove my dryer so I could install a new floor. The dryer would not fit through the doorway with the power cord attached. I replaced the cycle switch, fixing the lack of heat. The timer switch replacement fixed the auto cool down. I watched a cycle switch replacement on Youtube, demonstrating removal of the top console, which answered the only question I had about the repair. The timer switch was a hundred bucks. The only thing to be said about that is that it was a lot cheaper than a repairman or replacing the dryer. Read more
