Ordered the part from AppliancePartsPro's, watched the video, new latch works perfect. I've repaired several appliances in my house by diagnosing simple problems going to AppliancePartsPro's diagram's, ordering the part and installing myself. Never had any problems. The bearing in the back of the dryer was tricky but worked great. Keep track of all parts when you disassemble and assemble in reverse order. I ordered the rack adjuster assembly. I only needed the wheel, not the entire assembly, and when I recieved the assembly, I found the wheels are now riveted on, not held there by screws. The assembly was a perfect replacement, You will need a small star bit (T10) to do replacement. Part arrived in two days. Replacement lower spray arm for dishwashers. Installs at the bottom to direct water jets across the lower rack. Replace if cracked, clogged, or worn.
After cleaning strainers and inspecting pump housing it appeared lower arm was spinning but the water not reaching high enough. Lower arm was clogged with build-up. Replace arm was a simple fix and dishwasher working great. The money I saved on a service call. Read more

Dishes were 'gritty' with an almost invisible coating of specks smaller than grains of salt. Prior to ordering parts, I had to determine which part(s) needed replaced and which could benefit from a good cleaning. Color white. The wash arm measures about 11 inches, and the retainer about 3 inches.
Spun each of the three wash arms by hand. All could be made to touch/scrape but the top one was super wabbly. Ordered both the arm and clip. Repair took less than a minute. Used a screwdriver to pry loose one side of the old clip to remove. Aligned the new parts and easily snapped into place. Read more

Note: New rack no longer includes removable tines or cup shelf. This part is a lower dishrack. The lower dishrack is the lower shelf of a dishwasher that holds plates, bowls, and utensils. To remove the old dishrack, simply pull it out and lift the wheels up from its track. Set it off the side, and lift the new dishrack. Slide it into its track and make sure it is locked in. If it is gliding in and out in a smooth way, it has been installed properly.This genuine replacement OEM part is sold individually and is compatible with Whirlpool brands include Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Sears/Kenmore brand appliances.

Kit includes more than shown on picture. New kit is for both plastic and stainless tubs. Plastic tubs use only the float and the switch stainless tubs use all the parts.
I replaced the float switch. It was an easy enough repair. I didn't have to remove the dishwasher to do the work. The part is accessible from behind the front skirt.The only problem was there is not a lot of space to work in. Getting the fastener off and on requires a stubby nut driver. I used a flexible extension instead. I had to feel for the nut as the bottom of the door blocked my view.
