My dishwasher quit cleaning dishes and lost all pressure. The food screen would keep clogging up and I would have to take it out and clean it by hand. After putting a new impeller in, the "gears" on the impeller connected with the screen blades, the old impeller the "gears" were stripped off. Their loss- no wonder they're going out of business. Also, should note that the original assembly was plastic but the replacement was metal. Sure sign of a crappy cost-cutting decision. We purchased the electronic control board (for 1/2 of what the technician wanted for the part), opened up the door to the dishwasher, took out the old board and put in the new one. First tried replacing the seal around the door as that was the simple and most logical fix. Still leaked. Removed the front and upper panel to inspect. Found calcium deposit running down from under the Air Vent Assembly and wet behind the black stick-on insulation. Easy to trace the leak to the bottom of the door. => Ordered new Air Vent Assembly, gasket and Vent Deflector. Parts arrived. Took 5 minutes to remove upper panel. Tipped the dishwasher on to its front, loosened the drain hose clamp and pulled the hose off. Then unscrew the fill hose which looks like a garden hose adapter. Cut the zip tie on the drain hose and take note of how both hoses are routed, then pull both hoses out the back of the dishwasher. Insert new hoses and route them correctly and hook everything back up. Couple of notes, I didn't have to take off the outer cabinet to do this repair. I replaced the rear tube that feeds water to the top and middle spinners, and this appears to have fixed the problem. The middle spinner, which is attached to the bottom of the top rack, has a tube that connects to a hole in the middle of the rear tube.This hole has a rubber flap and I noticed that this flap was wide open. We scoured the web and there are few references to this so I want to add it in case it helps. Replacing hinges solved the popping opening issue. We could not solve our dishwasher door issue after a number of other tries: Latch, Catch, Ropes that attach to the springs that pull the door closed. I tend to believe the solve could be different b/c all these things work together. But for us, we were skeptical that the hinge swap would work and we were very pleasantly surprised. Read more

Chopper screen was completely blocked. Chopper blades separated from the shaft. Retainer ring came off of the shaft but was able to re install the chopper assembly. Worked fine after cleaning the screen and reassembly the lower spray arm. Lower spray arm hub tab broke when removing so purchased a new one with a new bearing.
