Ordered dishwasher rack tine tips and bottle of vinyl touch up paint. I applied the paint to each tine and then placed the tips on the tines. I waited a few hours before using my dishwasher to allow the paint to dry and allow the tips to stick to the tines. Read more

I noticed the floor around the dishwasher was starting to get wet and warp the wooden floor. The chopper had gotten out of line and had cut a pinhole into the sump housing and the dishwasher was leaking badly. It was quite easy to repair. This is the heating element located at the bottom of the dishwasher tub. It heats the water during the wash and rinse cycles and provides heat for the drying cycle. Replace this element if dishes come out wet or poorly cleaned, the water is not getting hot enough, or if the element is visibly damaged or broken.
Number one was turn the power to the dishwasher off. I disconnected the hoses under the sink. The dishwasher had to be pulled out from the cabinet. The old heating element easily came out and the new one put in its place. The instructional video made the repair very easy. Read more

Removed bottom cover, located leak at float switch, removed and replaced float switch kit. The toughest part of the repair was removing the Float & Retainer Assembly (in the interior of the machine tank) which broke when I pushed it back and pulled it straight up as suggested in the service manual. This is a rack adjuster mechanism that mounts on the right side of the upper dish rack and allows you to raise or lower it to accommodate different dish sizes. It includes the adjuster housing and associated components that lock the rack into position. Replace this part if the upper rack no longer stays at the selected height, slides unevenly, or the adjuster mechanism is cracked or broken.
I removed the basket, studied the old adjusters before removing them, and installed the new ones using some of the old parts(adjustment levers and the covers). adjusters work like a charm.. the only tool required was a screwdriver with removable torque bit. Read more
