Every six months I change my refrigerator filter. I purchased a new filter (UKF8001) and installed it just like I've done many times before. I went to appliancepartspros.com and described the symptoms which led to replacing the capacitor. The part arrived the next day!!! Unfortunately the clicking and warmness remained. I went to the online chat and Mandie recommended the relay which was next in the chain before the dreaded compressor. Once again the part arrived the next morning! Water dispenser came down to a trickle and made a lot of noise, I changed the filter but it didnt help and thus the water tank/head assembly needed to be replaced. Replacing the water Tank/head assembly was an easy task, the hardest part is removing the covers and taking care of not breaking the insulation of the water inlet hose. I pulled the old gasket off the door then I used rubbing alcohol to clean the mold along the back of the door and in the insert for the gasket seals . The new gasket fit extremely well and was very easy to put in. I waited 24 hours for the gasket to come back to its normal shape. After putting the gasket in I waited another 24 hours to make sure that I was getting no Icing inside the freezer area. There was no icing so the job is completed. Read more

The right door on our Jenn Air French Door Refrigerator would pop open & not fully close when the left door was closed first. The noise seemed to be caused by a vibration. The condenser fan motor seemed to have a vibration. I didn't need the fan blade as it came off in good condition. Read more

Temporary fix was to glue it. The final fix was a new pan which is sold as a complete unit. Old one out, new one in. The hardest part was determining what the part was called. I was looking for a "drawer" as the crispers are called, but after some searching I found a parts diagram that called it a "utility pan". Problem solved, part ordered and installed. I had my grandson, as he is more agile, replace the Drip Pan. The only real issue was the removing and reinstalling the Fan module. Strongly suggest to view the provided Video a couple of time to save frustration. As not in video, you do not need to remove the water line as the whole back panel will just fold up and out of the way. A 1/4" nut driver is the only tool you need.
