Tub bearing failure, basically the whole machine has to be taken a part. I've used appliancepartspros in the past so I came back. Quick shipping, parts ordered Thursday night and got here Monday. Air chamber for water level pressure switch hose.
After having a technician come to look at my washer, diagnosing the problem, and then not having the part to fix it (which would've taken another week or so after the washer was down at this point for a week and a half) I decided I could fix it myself. The problem ended up being the styrofoam piece that was meant to protect the hose from rubbing on anything didn't do it's job. The result ended up causing a pin hole size puncture in the hose which was allowing air to escape. That hose, along... Read more

This washer shock absorber helps control tub movement during spin and agitation. Replacing a worn damper restores stability, reduces vibration, and helps prevent excessive noise and shaking during cycles.
I took the front panel off which exposed the front two shock absorbers. But I could still only replace the front left shock. I could not get access to the one on the right. I then took the back panel off which gave me access to both back shocks and the other front shock. A simple twist and they were done. The longest part of the job was taking the back panel off.
